sounds like a perfect opportunity for that cross country road trip ive always wanted to do. I could turn this into a tour of california, see the big hole in the ground, maybe stop in austin on the way back and see an old friend.

but, im probably day dreaming.

Yea the people who want to show off their own builds in the parking lot... I wasn't saying no one didn't drive though, just comparing that to this is like someone said, apples vs oranges. Going to a dedicated Fest of 86's without your 86 would be sorta stupid. Going to SEMA or CES without your car is not.

For those of you doing the long haul, why not organize rally points to meet up with other members along the way? Sure it may add a few more miles but having a precession of like 30 frs/brz would be quite a sight

Edit: truck stops are the best places. They are easy to find for people not familiar with the area and let's everyone top off and don't have to make any large detours to get to them

It'd be cool if various regions on this forum could organize their starting points. Then make some kind of big tree of rally points on the way to Vegas on the big forum here. Just a thought.

What do you mean?
Are we going to track? Yes on the 14th Las Vegas Speedway (tentative. Still confirming stuff)
Need to bring helmets? Yes

Some of the various regions have already talking about this on their section. If there isn't one, prob good idea to make one right now and start making the list of ppl going

Too cool! I will be there. Besides, I want to compete for the prize for the oldest FR-S owner.

It would be nice if, instead of being scattered all over Las Vegas, if we could get a nice group rate from one of the hotels. In fact, the vendors could all set up in the same hotel. The vendors and moderators could all host parties in their rooms !!! It could become a real happening.

Two words: All night racing sim competition in hotel conference room.

Okay that was more than two words.

Edit: Also, we'd love to see awards for furthest travel, oldest owner, etc. First drink is on us, @whaap!

That would be awesome. The hardest part with a group rate is that you have to also contract to a room block. So if people dont stay at the same place, you are gutted, but I guess it depends if people want to do that I am sure someone could organize a group rate.

I think this thread would be great if the first post had a running list of members planning to attend/ their state they are coming from.

You can add me Ichi,
