I can't, but I remember reading somewhere that it is necessary to prevent interference with the purple spring cup and the rubber of the whiteline mount. It's a beveled washer which ensures that only the centre of the bearing is in contact with the strut.

Only required if you're not using the OEM upper spring seat/perch/black thing.

So is the answer to these problems in the washer? Can someone in-the-know tell us which washer we should be purchasing?

Thanks much.

Read my post. The washer is for those NOT using OEM size springs (RCE Yellow, Hotchkis, Eibach, most any lowering spring). If you have a threaded body coilover, you need these.

In Subaru circles it is simply referred to as the conical washer; the P/N should be enough to order.

I see you're in Canuckistan, not sure if your P/Ns are the same or not.

Well then they are not fine... Are they?

Noise is an issue. They should not make any noise over stock IMO.

My warranty replacements are coming from Australia.

I wonder how can I manage to install them successfully at this time.

For the sake of collecting data, I had a set of the early model (non-Koyo bearings, no dust covers) last about 9k miles, and they just recently went kaput. Getting a new set under warranty.
