Well it looks like he started the video in upper 4th gear... @ 65 mph and then went through to 6th ending near 100 mph. Idk why it was filmed starting there.... Lets see some first through fourth pulls. Not a good interpretation for the SC

Yea, we actually need to see some 2nd gear and up full throttle pulls. There is no way that was full throttle. Looks like he was just hovering at the RPM...

I have other videos that was the only one I could get to load. It's hard the go threw the gears plus hold the phone. Wasn't complete wide open. like I said before he can't here the whine as much he hear it when downshifting but when WOT you really don't hear the whine. Got about 4 inch of snow on Christmas hoping a lot of it will melt today so I can go get new videos. I am located 5280 Ft about sea level my car really sucked stock I don't get as much boost as if I were at sea level I only get about 5 psi at redline. From looking at the logs a little.

Hold the phone in your left hand with the hand on the steering wheel... that frees up your right hand to row through the gears .

I have decently sized hands so this is easy for me.

How about you bring yourE-85 tune up here you might have a harder time breathing then your car.

Saw that you live in Denver (5280 ft).

A rough calculation to calculate your HP loss from altitude....

hp loss = (5280 [altitude] x 0.03 x 240 [sea level power]) / 1000 = 38 hp loss

So, theoretically, if your car matches Perrin's dyno of 240 whp @ sea level, then your car should put down ~202 whp @ 5280 ft of altitude - on a dynapack.

For comparison, here is a video of my car @ ~190 whp [dynojet] @ sea level.

Yeah I never realized how much power you loose up in them there mountains. I would think that more boost could compensate. The maf sensor just monitors total air so more boost should put you at sea level CFM
2 more psi should do it.

Ya With just stock Perrin dyno at like 160. A guys car here came at like 150 I think. As soon as I get the rest of the parts I am going to dyno it and see what I need I am going to get a different pulley and hope to get near 10 psi.

Are you going to dyno with a dynojet or dynapack?
