Good news, matt@xpert is basically using Enfield's in Memphis. Enfield's is the reference detailer for optimum products as they partner with the company locally and personally.

Kcs said they will do any tint for 200 and will probably get it cheaper with more people.

Tennessee Tint on stage uses LLumar tint which is pretty good stuff and runs about that price as well. I was waiting til I got my opti-coat to get the tint done since it isn't recommended to do a thorough wash right after tinting.

Any idea what brand of tint KCS uses?

I have no idea, but that brand is good! Kcs would use high quality stuff for sure

So I'm finalizing my opti-coat with Ryan Enfield @ Enfield.

I was wondering how long he needs the car to do it and times/days, he gave me this info:

First and foremost, a sunny day is always preferred. we do have 7,000 sq feet of shop space so we can keep your car dry while curing, but delivery on rainy days is disappointing.

We will need the car here for an entire day. my preference would be to have the car here as close to 7am in the morning as possible. We will have ready for pickup between 4:30-5:00 the same day.

Just thought I'd share it for anyone else considering this as early dropoff @ convington pike might take some planning for some people. Matt @ Xpert and Ryan Enfield have been great to talk with so far.

Tennessee Tint quoted me $170 on 35% LLumar and $210 on 15%. I only had a minute and didn't ask about a multi-car discount.

Snappy in Southaven will do it for about 200 I heard. I will call tomorrow (02/27/2013) an ask and see if they give group discounts.

Tomorrow is the big day. Opti-Coat being done at Enfield's! Nice to know the guy who partners with Optimum for distribution owns the shop I'm getting it done at.
