Got dimensions for the Lachute when packed, going to see if I can sort some shipping from this end.

There is a place in footscray "Bros exhaust", they made a custome turbo back exhaust for my supra and did an excellent job and it was less than half of what HKS charge for their low spec cat back.

Ok, so apparently shipping from Canada to Australia is simply obscene. Air cargo is looking the best option and it's $800+ at best, plenty of quotes have been $1500+.

Starting to think the Lachute doesn't make sense.

For some reason it seems much cheaper to ship here from the US, going to see whether a US forwarder can do it cheaper even with the added shipping to them before giving up entirely.

Thought some people would be interested in this link for the Lachute cat-back:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7c0GgNBVY0&list=UUghaEIz-C4Vu_S9C6zPFYaA&index=4&feature=plcp"]Lachute Performance (INBOARD) BRZ/FR-S/GT86 Catback - YouTube[/ame]

Interesting how he set the cruise @ 106kmh & not 100kmh, possibly a little boomy but very nice nonetheless !

PS: you gotta use a decent set of speakers & sub on ya computer to hear these clips well, of course a well recorded clip helps too !

Giving up, or at least throwing it over to the community.

The Lachute packs into two boxes, one 48"x8"x24" weighing 28 lb, the other 67"x10"x10" weighing 16 lb.

If anyone else is looking at getting one and finds affordable shipping, please, please,please let me know.

Yup, and one being 67" screws any chance of even filling a pallet neatly.

I think the only shot to make the Lachutes viable would be a reasonably sizeable group buy or to find someone who's already running whole containers like the importers from Japan.

Quoted for ~$900 shipped here. tempted to pull the trigger...
$900 for a full cat-back, and shipped here? That sounds way too cheap?
