I have a few tint questions, hopefully this is the right thread:

*The back window has only the defroster right, no radio wires since that's on top?

*Has anyone had Huper Optik tinted on their back window, I was told by one tint guy that he couldn't do it but I suspect that he may have just not wanted to since it would require more work cutting the tint and he thought there were radio wires on the back window.

*Next to Huper Optik Drei what's the next best tint for maximum heat rejection, I live in AZ. I don't care about looks at all, I just want the max heat reject which is why Huper Optik Drei was great. Good visibility too. I've heard F1/Pinnacle 05 is next but am looking for confirmation.

I'm also looking for stats, not opinions based on how good your car looks with insert random tint product. I realize many just tint for looks but I don't want that mixed up in my answers, thanks.

I would suggest 3M Crystalline Tints if you are looking to reject maximum heat.

They are quite pricey though. (I got quoted for $250 for just the windshield).

Huper Optik Drei is still higher at 70%, thanks though they look like another good second choice.

Oh also, is taking apart the break light in the rear window a big deal? Should I dig up the instructions and bring them with me or is it something tint people know how to do?

All you have to do is push on it at the seam towards the glass and pry up with you thumbnails, the top of it should pop right off, mine did. Then go to the trunk and unplug it and it's out of the way.

Mine is 20% all around and Johnson film. If you hit it with a meter it's 15%, our glass reads at about 74ish% with no tint on it so keep that in mind if you're getting tint. I have a notarized affidavit from my eye doctor for the tint as Oregon law says 35% or lighter.

Wondering when you get the front windows tinted if you're not supposed to drive it for 3-5 days? Because the front window comes down a little when you open the door.

If the windows have been tinted properly it won't be an issue.
