Looked like fun...I'll hit you all up next time. There is AutoX at Keesler on the 18th. Should come out and represent our cars. There are two BRZ/FRS run consistently w/ GCR SCCA. Lets get a meet sometime in early Dec before the holidays...that would be great.

And where do they do the autox? I'm no good at it but I like to watch! Are there a decent amount of cars?

Not Familiar with AutoX. What is it and how do I sign up?

Autocross is a course setup with cones in a parking lot...runs are usually a couple minutes long but from what i have read it seems to cycle through quickly so you get a decent amount of focused driving. Also look up scca for more details on autocross.

Autox is Pretty fun, i only did it once in my srt4 not the best car for the small courses and tight turns the srscca made back in idaho, the fr-s would be way bad ass to run though I'm sure!

There aren't any good local forums. I've been on a few but they blow the big one.

Biggest local forum is race850. I think there are quite a few people on d2m (Driven to Modify) as well. Let me know when you guys are tired of killing cones and ready to attend some track days. I had a great time in Memphis this weekend.

I've been interested in getting some track time, but my luck/job doesnt exactly let me go super far. Let me know what/when/where and I will try to come along if i can.

Are there any track days within like 100-150 miles of Gulfport anyone know? I can't go more than 4 hours away from base... It sucks also it would have to be on a Saturday and I can't leave base till about 630am... Rules here suck haha

NOLA Motorsports is within a two hour drive.
