You're not alone, I got a sore muscle in the neck after I installed mine!
I don't have enough imagination to figure out how to get pain in the ass installing it though

Got around to disabling the fake engine noise today, can't tell how much of a difference it's made yet

I am very curious about this. I got my car earlier this week and have not gone above 4k RPM but I really can't tell any artificial sound being piped in.

I assume it's ET45, I think he posted it somewhere else. RPF1 in 17x9 seems only available in 35 or 45 and he wouldnt need a spacer for 35 but then that wouldn't be a easy fit in the rear. I got 17x9 ET42 wheels coming in next week, I'm curious how it will fit. Pretty sure i'll need spacers anyway if I want any sort of camber ajustment.

Hows the clutch spring feel in the 2022? I'm on the fence about it

I don't have my 2022 yet, my pain in the neck was previously caused by my '17
Looks like multiple other people said they prefer the clutch feel with MTEC springs in '22s.

Installed one on mine earlier this week, made a huge difference in drivability for me. So much easier to shift smoothly now. Well worth the $27.

I'll echo that it was a huge pain to install.. simple job in theory but ended up taking me around an hour after having the c clip go flying when I removed it

Ordered the MTEC clutch spring today - looking forward to it based on everyone's comments. The clutch on the BRZ feels quite strange to me compared to our WRX, and the FWD economy cars from days of old (BRZ has zero feel and is too light).

Hit a milestone again on the car! Also, loving this setting on the HVAC. Perfect for colder weather when I want to have the windows down, and lots of heat up top, and just a little heat below. Usually on cars your only option to do this is to roast your feet. Makes me wonder if this was the thinking behind this mode...but either way I like it.

Scheduled tint for tomorrow and ordered the MTEC spring.

We got the car this week and my husband asked if I was having fun and I told him I wasn’t because I’m not getting the feel of the clutch down so well. It doesn’t feel right to me and I thought it was just me not having driven a manual in 20 years. It seems the spring may solve my issue and make the clutch feel like what I remember a clutch feeling like, heavier.

Your comment about the economy cars of old is what sold me on the clutch spring. My last manual was a 1996 so my memory is stuck on that heavier feeling clutch.

I guess I'm the odd one out here. I find the clutch feel overall ok. Yes the WRXs and such have heavier clutches, but my '98 Frontier had a clutch with action way lighter than this car. I have adjusted the pedal position and like it a bit better, but I think I may take just a touch out of that adjustment to get it even better.
