Was looking forward to hearing your Perrin non res, lol.

You can't go wrong either way with the Perrin or Nameless. We don't see the kind of weather or road conditions that would contribute to a whole lot of rust here, anyway.

If you get the Nameless you can get the downpipe, the install isn't that hard. You can buy a separate mid pipe to complete the setup.

The runs, the mufflers and pipe diameters on the Nameless exhaust where carefully chosen to get the exact sound wanted; no rasp or drone.

I personally don't mind the way it looks since the only thing that will be seen are the beautifull tips.
Nameless seem to have a very vocal fanbase, I guess due to their one upmanship on forums (and of course, their good products). Perrin just stfu and get the job done, which is true professionalism if you ask me.

Both seem like good options. My AVO kit will mount to a full Perrin catted + non resonated manifold back system next month. I'll have dyno and sound/vids on the way shortly after.

What do you mean by one upmanship? They are not even active in this forum.. and look at all the people advocating for them. Nameless has a very vocal fanbase because the products are THAT GOOD.

I have nothing but good things to say about both companies. Anyone who chooses Perrin over Nameless has done a great decision too. But I personally chose Nameless and can't be happier about it. (I also have Perrin products and they are off the charts top notch quality).

I noticed Jason would go into another vendors thread and comment on some part of their work and how he would do things differently for his product, then a bunch of his fans or customers felt the need to get involved. I guess it wasn't his fault his fans were just kind of defensive/feisty. Anyway as you say both are great companies and products.

I believe you are talking about Agency Power. He did go in the thread called Nameless Vs. AP. That thread was created by a forum member, not by NP or AP. Jason got involved because there where a bunch of lies thrown around about AP, and he uncovered the truth about them. Heck, I was considering AP and after reading that specific thread I did my own research and uncovered a bunch of other stuff about AP, so that particular discussion helped me a lot. I guess if you have been in this forum long enough you can appreciate he was right

There were two situations that I can think of, and he was correct on both counts. One vendor was grossly mis-representing both the power and country of origin of their product. In that case it was the forum members that recognized the ludicrous gains that were claimed that commented first on those. Nameless was not the only vendor that commented there, but perhaps the most passionate.

The second situation was a vendor mis-representing the materials used in their system using material that was less expensive than the one claimed. The vendor in this case was either grossly ignorant, or deliberately lying. But that blew over rather quickly since the members here are mostly rather ignorant about materials as well, and the vendor didn't really focus on the product anyways.

If it was about one-upmanship there would be a few more side by side pictures of Perrin v Nameless welding...

Yes, Jason is on my friends list, but that came from discussions here and their (formerly, unfortunately) inclusive and open approach to R&D.

To be perfectly honest, the quality of the Motiv pieces seem to be the best on the forum so far.

I saw that and wondered if anyone was going to pick up on it. Only reason I don't have any of their pieces is because I have NO idea who they are and had never heard of them.

Anyone happen to have the name of the thread or a link? I would like to read it.
I too have heard many things about AP and just by a look at their dynos on these forums versus customers who posted I am glad I decided against ordering from them.

Also did a little research on them and it turns out they have a long history of bad service/lies. Not surprising it happened here also. I am interested in that thread that and would like to learn more about what happened.

It's old news, and not really worth digging up anymore.
