What a shame. That was a nice looking Scion. So much of that custom stuff is just work/money down the drain now.

My position as well. I both ride and drive. My pet peeve about bicyclists and motorcyclists alike is in those that feel entitled to decide selectively whether they are pedestrians or vehicles.

I'll follow you in traffic and patiently wait for a place to pass but once you blow past me in a four way stop, it's on with the horn, asshole.

So to finish up with this:

Estimate to repair was $11,828.88 and declared a total loss.

Settlement of $10,633.58

More than I was expecting for a modded 2013 with just over 100,000 miles.

And i did go see a doctor. A few weeks with a chiropractor is all i need.

I purchased a new 2018 white Ford Focus ST1 on Friday in Houston for less than $20K out the door. That car has always had my attention for some reason. All i have left is an unmarried OFT and sunshade left to sell and the FRS portion of my life will come to a close. Unfortunately the ST forums pale in comparison to this one, so i'll still be around the Cosmetic Maintenance page for sure and creeping the rest.

Thanks for the update (final chapter for your poor car).

I understand the Ford Focus ST1 is a right good car ..

Good on ya!

Wow, glad it got settled though. If you post both to members classified they'll sell in a heartbeat if you follow the rules, USPS flat rate shipping is probably best and you can recoup it.
