I need to visit Bahrain someday and cover those cars up-close. These are some exclusive projects going on.

For the mean time, I hope you dont mind if I share the story & pictures of this wild creation.

Sure bro. Project is on hold at the moment. We are trying to find full interior parts (new). Car is made for show and go. Built 2jz engine with all the goodies including an HKS T51R turbo and an F-Con Vpro ecu along with a supra 6-speed manual.

We would appreciate any help with the interior

I don't know where on earth will you sort out an interior for this car especially here in the middle-east. It seems the only way is via special orders which equals lots of money to be spent.

Its a problem among many hachi-roku owners for the car is a 1/4 century old.. Most of the examples I saw are settling for composite door cards & fabricated floor carpeting.

We got the red-ae86 in dubai with a Black-top engine suffering from the same issue.

No the red one is still work in progress as the owner wants to keep it.. It has the 20v blacktop with a carburetor.

But it has no interior, only seats & a dashboard barely holding up.

I drove the car today and it was a blast indeed. I enjoyed it a lot. The car was sharp and decisive. U just point where ever u want and it will turn! The seating and steering position was great and u can only find such position in top notch sport cars. It's the type of car that if u chose it be tail-happy it would and if u chose it to be a fast lapper it would easily. Car felt really solid with great suspension. Center of gravity can be felt, or shall I say does not exist in this car! I was amazed at the slalom! Almost couldn't feel the body roll! Brakes were better than I expected and performed nicely and effectively!!

Well done Toyota, u managed to reinvent the wheel
