Over the past weekend I stuffed the nose of the brz into my garage and pulled the lights to wrap them in colored laminar film. I had done the same blue film on my 2012 wax and loved how it came out. I decided to do yellow fogs for the brz also. I guess thats kind of become my signature, mag blue rays wheels and blue tinted headlights haha. Anyway, it was sipper shitty weather with it raining and the cold. But I REALLY wanted to get it on. I wrapped them on the kitchen counter. By this point the wife doesn't even blink an eye when she walks in and see car parts all over the kitchen. I AM TRAINING HER WELL.

Installed some whittling rear lcas to correct the rear camber. Was running little too much at -2.9. Also got my center caps in and installed them. The stickers and rays valve stems arrived as well, just have to make time to pull the wheels off and clean them and install. Will have to throw the stocks on for a few days for that. Also had a few friends pass by, and went and did a little mini shoot. Had some nice weather and clear skies for it.

Had a bit of a sketchy drive home the other day. Screws for my steering wheel to hit started to come loose. Put some loctite and tightened them up and good to go. Also tore down my caliper to ship to a friend to have some threads fixed. I suck at tapping threads and I REALLY don't want to mess these calipers up.

Will be dropping it off to a local subaru shop tp drop the syncros in. Was initially going to do it myself however currently I simony don't have the length of time to dedicate to that technical of a install process. IMG_2946 by lawrx, on Flickr

This past weekend was our local IFO show. Used it as an excuse to finally put my new Volk decals on the wheels. Also took some driveway shots in the nice afternoon sun.

Got back to work on my rear calipers this weekend. Wasn't happy with the paint finish form the first time so I sanded them down and resprayed them. Also went ahead and cleaned the hardware and such. Went to put them all together and realized I had ordered the incorrect seals. So sadly I therefore was not able to fully assemble them. New correct seals are on order, so once those are in I can commence final assembly. Only other step after that is to paint the Prodrive logo on the face of the calipers themselves.

The other night I painted the Prodrive logo on the calipers. Wasn't happy with how they came out. Ended up sanding them down and respraying them.
Let them dry for a few days and took on the task of round 2. Went much better this time around. The new correct seals also came in tonight. Therefore I was able to complete assembly sans pads. While working on them I took multiple time lapse videos with my phone and stitched them together. Didn't come out too bad for a first try. May in the future due similar things for installs and such. You don't want me to be talking on camera, Im awkward af. Finished up the EDFC wiring over the weekend. This system is sweet, very cool setup. Ended up finding I had damaged some wires on the rt front as I did not install the strut stops which keep it from spinning. I had connected the wires and after driving for a few days it had twisted the wires around the motor and broken them in the sheathing. Now I need to pull the front coils and install the strut stops to keep them from spinning and I can hook them up permanently.
