With the STI springs I have about 3.5" max clearance from the ground, which is more than enough as long as you are always conservative with bumps, dips, and inclines.
Perchaps I shall purchase your underlip. I calculate ~4.9" ground clearance (by calculate, I mean troll the forums for someone who measured it already) stock. Let's convert to mm:

4.9in * 2.54 = 12.446cm * 10 = 124.46mm.

We have 124.46mm of ground clearance stock. Let's say you have RCE Yellows, that's a minus 20 DKP! Er, minus 20mm. 104.46mm ground clearance now. You then install your super snazzy STI lip for minus ~25.4mm (approx 1" is the height of the lip I think) and you have a total of 79.06mm ground clearance at the front bumper. Now convert back to inches!

79.06mm / 10 = 7.906cm / 2.54 = 3.11in.

We'll call that 3 inches of ground clearance. At that height I'm no longer concerned about the underlip as a run in with an actual curb will be catastrophic (those are 4"-5" high usually). A parking stop would be between 2.5" and 4".

Too much math for 10AM.

Note: I think 1" height is a bit conservative for the lip. I haven't held it in a long time so I'm not certain anymore, but it could be closer to 1.5".

Nah. I like em but prolly not gonna add anything to increase NVH. If I was uber pressed for power and handling, then yeah. But she's just my style whore. You know that.
It is pretty sick to see the comparison of the STi bits compared to our "normal" Suby bushes and mounts.

I've got a few things still on order. The meet that Brady had really made me connect more with my inner-ricer.

When I get more of the stuff in, I'll prolly put some opinion feelers out there to see what you guys think.

Teaser #2:

Very tidy and safe packaging.

Hmmm. Thought this was a TRD part? This brings back the question I posed to @switchlanez about the TRD Strut Bar being a TRD part or STi?

This shows how the OEM part is one piece of molded plastic where the carbon and plastic are two seperate pieces

OEM - 4.74oz
TRD - 4.75oz

Quick question Matt; do you suggest putting the underskirt on the lip BEFORE attaching the lip to the car or after?

If you have plenty of room to work under the car - put the lip on the car and then the skirt on the lip.

If you are pressed for room - put the skirt on the lip and then install on the car.

I felt like having the lip already on the car made it feel much more rigid and secure. I was able to lean into the car to get the skirt to contour with the shapes and turns of the lip.

Interesting it's stamped Subaru on the back! Guess it makes sense for TRD to rely on Subaru to do body mounted pieces because Subaru manufactured the sheetmetal. Wonder if the TRD body kit (which I think has slivers of carbon fiber) were made by Subaru. Or even TRD's more mechanical pieces.

@OrbitalEllipses, it was less straining on my body to tack the skirt on with the lip lying bottom up on my carpet first time around but I didn't line up the front edges quite uniformly. Second time I installed it (after it peeled back from curbing), I applied it with the lip already on the car. It was much easier pressing my thumb along the crevice where they join as a guide while I laid it on. Like Matt said, it's better when the lip is held static by the car so you can use both hands to align the skirt cleanly.

My oh my dat angle!
