Nothing personal, but it's a private group and is ran as such.

If you want to complain about SBD or it's business practices, voice it here. This forum is the proper place to do that.

Your complaints would fall on deaf ears from those who have made the choice to buy this kit.
Last I checked, CSG doesn't manufacturer any forced induction kits. If you consider our Ace header to be a competitive product to your turbo kit... well... the header must be even better than I thought.

It's okay. I understand that you don't want to have to answer the difficult questions I ask.

You should, Mike feels strongly about his feelings and I can respect that.

We may disagree but I have no doubt he takes great care of his customers, as do we.

There's enough business here for everyone, which is why all parties in question are in business to this day.

I don't think any of us have a missed a meal due to this product, nor any other, finding success in the marketplace.

We welcome anyone that genuinely wants to learn more about the kit.

Those that cannot behave themselves, or competitive vendors with a chip on their shoulder, will be removed quickly.

With almost 800 members, we have a very cohesive, helpful group who fends for one another. It's probably our best selling point.

I will 100% not allow this dynamic to be compromised or our customers to be questioned.

For those that want to be a productive member, you're more than welcome to join and participate in discussion.

While I do question the ethics behind reps, there is no question for the money this kit performs. It's a moderately powerful kit at a very affordable price point. The only thing that really comes into question is your morals.

I will continue to service those to chose to support us to the best of our ability.

For those that chose to buy elsewhere, I can respect your freedom of choice.

We can argue conspiracy theories and "what ifs", but the proof is in the pudding and it's now one of the most documented turbo kits on the market.

I think everyone, after 3 years of documentation, is well aware of the various dynamics and can make an informed decision with whom they want to spend their money.

For those that buy our kit, we will continue to provide the stellar customer service that has made us successful.

We've worked very hard to improve this kits early shortcomings and make it, in 2016, an unbeatable value in the marketplace.

The consumer has responded and we cannot manufacture these fast enough to meet demand. (Sold out as I type this.)

For that, I say thank you to the public.

Alibaba is a good way to lose a lot of money quickly for the novice importer/re-seller.
Sorry for the assumption, you missed my very positive post however!

This...My kit hasn't let me down. My car has. (clutch, Axle). Any small issue I have ever had was resolved with in minutes of contacting SBD(which was either me being plain old stupid, or just something I needed a second brain for). customer service is amazing and Chris is still going out of his way to figure out ways to improve the turbo kit. Well it may not be designed by Speed by Design, They sure stand behind and are putting a lot of effort into making it the best bang for the buck kit.

For example the Original heat shield design kind of sucked. So chris found a reasonably priced blanket that worked well with the kit, Some of us had to pay for it, but it is now included with the kit. The blow off valve is a nice touch considering greddys kit does not come with a blow off valve and there is plenty of people that don't like that(I would rather not have one).

Also they supply pretapped oil pans for a very fair price. So you have your factory one incase you need to revert your car back to stock. Also with him pairing up with Shiv from OFT helped out a lot, Shiv made aftermarket intake pipe for the kit, which is a very nice touch, mine doesn't fit to great because I am using the factory crash beam but I prefer his intake design rather then the intake that comes with the kit.

If you have the money, buy this kit. An upgraded clutch, Pretapped pan, OFT, and a few other small things and have your self a great fun reliable car

No one is disputing that you all provide excellent customer service. That's just not the issue at hand.

It's hardly a conspiracy theory at this point. We all know that your supplier, Zage, manufactures a nearly 100% identical copy of the Greddy turbo kit, in some cases even using pipes that were clearly intended for a greddy kit at one point in time. Sure, it is well documented, but we all know what it is.

Yeah, and hopefully honest discussions like this one going on here will bring your business tactics to light and people will realize their hard-earned money is best spent with those who provide us with innovative product design, not those who rip-off existing products from those innovative companies and then undercut their (reasonably fair) pricing.

And at the end of the day, that's the problem. We, the consumers haven't spoken out against this enough with our wallets. All of us who support companies like SBD and Zage are to blame. As long as we keep spending money on knock-off products, companies will keep popping up to produce and sell them.

And before you chime back in with your "we're the exclusive North American distributor of this Zage built kit" line again, let's be clear. If you really are that independent of their decision to knock-off the Greddy kit, then you should really reconsider who you do business with. You're still facilitating what Zage does and bear much of the responsibility as well. You all seem to be very good at the customer service side of things, but dealings like this cast you in a much more negative light.

These same arguments have been made since this kits inception, and I respect your opinion and right to chose where you spend your hard earned money.

We don't expect to get all of the turbo kit business, but are thankful for those that support us.

I also appreciate those that have been patient with us over the past 3 years, as we've made numerous changes to the original design to make this the ultimate value it is today.

If you don't like the kit then don't buy it. Simple as that. Don't need to bash others for it.

This is what it boils down too.

Support the kit or don't, but no need to degrade your fellow enthusiast who have made the decision to support it.

Opinions are like.....everyone's got one right?
