Could be many reasons for that dip

Strange OP does not feel it on road

Was traction/stability switched completly off for dyno run ?
may be ecu closing throttle due to perceived wheel slip or differing rotational speeds of front/rear wheels.

need ecu logs to confirm anything before jumping to conclusions.

car could actually have a real issue, car has altered intake tube possible air leak or intake resonance.

car has aftermarket headers possible exhaust leak throwwing off 02 sensor readings.

could be batch of crappy E85 causing a lot of knock in that area who knows

this is one car, thousands of people running same tune all round world why has it not been noticed before the v1.5 E85 tune is same as v2 e85 tune its been around for a while.

hopefully the explanation will be found, it will be an interisting read

There are many ways to make a dynomometer.
You can accelerate a known mass to a measured speed in a measured time span.
Or you could pump water up a known amount of head (dont laugh...).
Or you could have a giant electric traction motor and apply current until you stall the cars drivetrain.

Each method has a different set of equations that result in a HP curve.
Different methods give different results and different methods of calibration.

Ah! Mod unlocked the thread, awesome. I met with Shiv two weeks ago and he personally took my car out for a spin. He showed me the AFR's, throttle, and a couple of other loggers on my tablet as he ripped through the gears down a stretch of road near his place. 3rd to 5th, nothing abnormal or anything to signal a dip like on the MaHa dyno.

Shiv said he'd keep to his word about throwing my car on the dyno, this was supposed to happen last week. He mentioned something about getting his taxes done on Wednesday and that I should shoot him a text later in the week -- it'd be the same time he was to put the EQ FR-S on the dyno since he's tuning their SPD turbo. Almost a week later and I haven't gotten a response from him.

I'm sure a free dyno will happen when there's "free" time.
Anywho from my experience Vishnu is good on their promises. Just be patient. Also from my experience with the oft and e85 tune, i haven't seen this dip that you have so it'll be interesting to see what's causing it, but my money is on the fact that it's NOT the tune.

It's free, over an issue that isn't shiv's doing, don't you think you are expecting a little too much especially with how this thread started?

I corresponded with OP last friday. Told him that the earliest I would have time is next week after SEMA. The car checked out just (as expected) fine so this is really just for his peace of mind.

Fair enough, you are a nicer man than me.
If everything turns out fine and points toward the other party, I would have charged him due to the time used for his peace of mind as well as expecting him to open a thread just like this, but the other way around.

Hey, I've told Shiv in person that I wanted to have a dyno sheet so I could post it in this thread so it wouldn't hurt their reputation. And I think it'd be fair to Mann to have a dyno to compare to, they also offered a return dyno session.

I was relieved after getting an approval that my car checks out fine. I've offered to delete the thread, I've offered to do all I can to keep Vishnu from getting a bad rep -- however, it was insisted I keep the thread open solely for informational purposes. Why don't you PM me and we take this offline. Better yet, if you're local, let's talk, sounds like you've got something to say to my face.

Come on now....do you have anything worthwhile to add to the thread? I'm not about to get into it with someone significantly older than me, unless your PinoyExchange account is wrong.

Funny (and somewhat sad) thing is, you can't fathom the degree of fail you've achieved in this thread. From the patently false OP, to the obviously illogical attempts to sound objective, to the entitled sense that Shiv owes you anything after your ham fisted FUD attempt, to your poseur tough guy replies to ppl that call this nonsense out and now some weak (and wrong) 15 second google-fu doxxing attempt towards me. Dude, are you really this dense? Stop posting period. Anyone with half a brain can see what happened here. Shiv doesn't need to give you a dyno to post to prove you were wrong. It's abundantly obvious that you were. He's just being the bigger and smarter (business) man here. All your half witted threats and attempts to intimidate are both ineffective and kind of sad.
