Indeed and change the injectors to 550 plus the turbo and a few other tiny bits youll have a easy 400bhp under ft-86 wonder how that would feel ha.

then again, if you have a 1jz and a 2jz, you could put either one in, add a boost controller, full exhaust, big-ass FMIC, and make the same power for less work.

i've been in a few 340-350whp MR2's, and it's a hell of a good time, that's for sure! although the FT would definitely have more wheelspin issues than the MR2, hehe.

Those are some really hopeful numbers there.

I'd be surprised to see anything larger than 235 from the factory.

I should have clarified, those aren't from the factory. Those would be aftermarket with rolled fenders, etc.

LSX would be incredible, rx-7s and 240sx with LS engines are extremely fast. If this car does not come with a turbo 4 cylinder than it is a disappointment. Lets be serious, a na 4 cylinder with 200-250 doesnt cut it in todays world. If it comes with a turbo 4 with 250 hp stock and the ability to be pushed to 400hp relatively easy it will be a good little car.

you really can't be serious, can you??? have you ever driven a modern small 200hp car? go drive a Civic Si spiritedly, and then think of how much more fun it would be in a slightly smaller car, RWD, with a lower CG and better suspension design (it's very difficult to get front camber into a new Si). i'm not talking about fun in a straight line, either...

Drive an S around a track for a bit and tell me it's a disappointment since it's not boosted.

All I read is:

"Dang dawg, dis bia betta come wit a turbo if ya'll wanna hang wit da big boyz."

Here's a bit of enlightened advice for you: Not all sports car are designed to be straight-line, high HP machines. Stick with your vette.

I love guys like this anyways. They're typically the ones you point and laugh at as you see them take off from a stop light, riding their clutch at launch and then mis-shifting into second. And thats if they even drive manuals.

I have driven a quick economy car, it was a an integra type R with 195hp. I have driven an old prelude vtec with around the same amount of hp. These cars were funny and kind of quick but they are what they are. They are not serious cars. I have driven a S2000 which isn't really an economy car but it is gutless. For young teenage kids these cars might be ok. They are really for the kind of kids that are a bit quirky and nerdy. The cooler kids like different things. I have higher hopes for this ft 86. I hope this car isnt going to be aimed at nerdy kids and will be a somewhat serious car. It needs to have around the same performance as a 370z which is a respectable car.
