Jason, the cam phasing strategy is here somewhere (I'll look/link tomorrow). It's around 50° range each if memory serves.
What I'm doing is tracking the time the pulses travel to reflection points based to lengths and rpm then converting to degrees. So if a pulse returns during overlap it's good (or bad). So I set my lengths then go over the rev range in 500 rpm steps, noting when the returns arrive. Can draw a bit of a 'map' where exhaust acoustic scavenging will increase and decrease in the rev range. So early/late returns we can phase the overlap a bit to 'catch' (or avoid) pulses with the AVCS.

I guess I'm the only one who wants to tear the motor down, p&p, put in cams with s/r, tune with a nice header/exhaust, intake, and rev this biatch to 9k...
I would love to see how this thing does on a dyno. I would like to see the BRZ breaking over 200whp on stock engine with bolt-ons. |

I really like the ethos you guys have built your company on and the discussion you're hosting here. Props and good job!

I'd be thrilled to see you guys release this header as well as a complete system to the back of the car as a package. I'd be all over it.
If your #'s prove as good as those SARD has achieved then I'd be in line as a customer

Maybe I missed it (didnt want to read through all the pages), but are you also developing a cat-back to compliment these headers?
And, on top of that, will you be having optional ceramic coating on the header(s)? |

They already have an axleback/downpipe combo. It makes 11-12 whp avg, 19whp peak over stock.

True, I'm still anxious to see how much a reflash will wake up the emissions friendly tune.
