Got around to some polishing: Used Blue Magic polish, some microfiber towels, a Dremel with polishing tips, and some manual labor.

Before and after

Polished one on top... bottom one partially started.

Me too. I had an MGB GT w/elec OD but prefer the Sprigets. The Mk.I is the most valuable of all going through auction now.

Which Lola do you have?

Gave it a thorough wash and then I realized I had extra plastidip and a roll of painters tape, so I messed around with the front bumper to see what it'd look like haha.

Probably not gonna keep it but it kept me occupied and entertained for an hour. I'm sure if I dipped the lip to match the black it wouldn't be half bad.

I like it with the lip! May look odd without it but (in the pic at least) the combo works.

Please be careful with stock tires (if that's what I see) with a forced induction set up man. It's easy enough to get sideways by accident in my 9.5 wide michilin as3s with NA.

Yeah I have new wheels coming already. They should be here about a week after i get the car back. I am having a few different maps done as well so that I can drive a little more conservatively on the streets. Thanks for the heads up. I have been very curious about the difference with a wider tire even NA. Sounds like it isn't too much different lol. I have a feeling I am going to want to get a stickier compound after reading your comment though

Just tracking orders and waiting for the weekend where I'll be spending my 23rd birthday with some Hefeweizen and new toys for the car.

The dealer wants around 1K to install the head and tail lights, the side markers, and the lightweight pulleys so I might as well do it myself over the weekend and save a week's pay.

Luckily, the tire shop is much more reasonable so I'll have a professional do that bit.

Looks great. Have you tried Flitz? I've always had very good results with it.

I have not... I'll have to give Flitz a try. I have used Mother's metal polish in the past with basically the same results as Blue Magic.

Something new for summer.

Michelin PSS 265/35R18. They will replaced the 255/35R18 Continental DW on my TE37SL.

Gonna roll fenders at Area1320 in PA and do a new alignment.
