If you drive with any alacrity at all, prepared to be frustrated at the glacial pace, even if traffic is moving well. If the sign says "40", that typically means take 40 minutes to reach 40. Be prepared for "better" cars than an FR-S to be driven by soul-dead zombies. If you are on a fun road behind a BMW (for example) that is moving well in the straights, be prepared for the NDF inside to stand on the brakes at the corner entrance.

Always be on the lookout for full-blown retards on bicycles, especially when turning in any direction, ESPECIALLY near green-painted bike lanes as they assume that is some sort of immunity from physics.

On fun roads, NEVER assume to clown who looks you in the eyes wont pull out in front of you.
So pretty much any larger city anywhere including here then!
Good to know.

clutch fluid

New fluid on clutch system... at 31,000 i didn't need a manual to tell me it was time. Much better now.
I recommend to do it at 20,000 no matter how good you drive a stick.

Filled the tank with 93 octane BP gas for just over $20.

1. Installed the Gasket Ninja taillight seal things. Great product at a price that is just within the "more worth it to buy premade than waste my time making" category.

2. Installed the Diode Dynamics tails as turn kit so I can finally get rid of the God forsaken ape-ass (aka the reverse light setup that ruins the entire rear of the car). I'm not a fan of the taillights being the turn signals, but I figured I'll rarely see them lit up, if ever, so that was the much lessor of the two evils. Now I just need my OE grill insert to get here so I can fill the empty spot.

FrS would make a god awful noise when braking so I went ahead and took everything apart, added lube, and reinstalled. No more noise. Yay

Where did you add the lube, exactly?

Not sure where he put it, but generally you would grease the back side of the pad, the back side of the slotted shim, and the slider pins with a high temp grease.

And make bloody sure you don't get it on the pad face or rotors!
Although it burns off pretty quick until it does it can end very badly.

Just saw my notifications. Yeah I made sure to grease the correct areas. Nothing on face of pads and rotors. This weird noise was coming from my front driver side when slowing down and after research I saw I might need to check my caliper bracket, have it rethreaded, or lubed up. Well one bolt that goes into the rubber that compresses I guess when you apply the brakes had grease the other didn't. Cleaned them up, greased them up, and so far no noise. Sorry I'm bad with the technical names for parts.

I'm an engineer and half the time we just use an acronym or assume people know which "thing" we're talking about. No worries :p

A bunch of engineers, our operations manager and I had a design meeting for a new robot cell the other day. After about an hour of hashing stuff out I notice the ops guy is sort of glazed over. I ask him what he thinks about the plan and he responds "I did not understand one word after, so let's get started!"
