I'm losing enthusiasm for this. The cheapest place I've found would put my rent cost for both my apartment and shop at over 50% of my take-home pay, which I won't do. And convincing my welder-buddy to share the cost isn't happening because he is too far away.

Plus work won't let us come in on weekends.

Frustrated.

Vancouver area is the most expensive in Canada. But the cheaper cities have shitty job situations.

My buddy's car. I've made a few little parts for this car, (spacers and hose supports) but the bastard never thanked me in the article. Heh...

I double dare you.
GODDAMN! This dude is a god among men! So much custom work!

Custom Titanium Rods, Custom CNC EVERYTHING?? I wouldn't touch a project like this with a 10ft stick, because if I did, it would be just like he said: First 12s, then 11s, then 10s, then 9s, shooting for 8s...

I got a lot of respect for this dude! If you ever see him, tell him Guff says "You're one crazy ass mofo".

He had the advantage of working in a CNC shop. Plus in all honesty he's nowhere near 8s. He ran a 9.90 once, with a TH350. But he doesn't want to cage it for 9s (or his trap is too high, I can't remember), our track is NHRA rules for ET/safety requirements. Then he put an R154 5speed with the Tilton triple disc back in because the auto sucks on the street. I think it would take him a lot of launch practice to run a 9 on the 5 speed. I've been in it with his 700+ whp street tune and it is scary fast. I can't even imagine it on full kill.

Still the overall best Mk3 in the world, in my opinion.
