But if you get a three way switch you could wire both the foot switch and the procede to the wires.

These charts really show what the Phantom is all about. Especially the WTQ chart. Not happy with the low end torque of this engine? Get a Phantom. Don't waste your money on other mods that do little if anything about the lack of low end power. Get on the list now and save up your money for when it's your turn! |

Okay, so I've had the Procede with @KoolBRZ's "cool" map installed and used for the past few days.
My review? The kit was a kind of frustrating install due to how tough it is to get to the wires you need to tap into, but once I got it sorted out with everyone's help, the kit was well worth the cost. Why? Because the linear control makes this kit really come alive. I made a comment before the Procede that the Phantom ESC felt like a rechargeable shot of NOS, in the sense that all the power kicks in once you hit that throttle switch. This made using it fully a bit of a challenge for your daily driver since you had to decide whether or not 5 PSI of boost was a good idea at the moment, and if it wasn't you had to behave yourself unless you wanted to overshoot the exit of a corner or end up in the car in front of you. With the Procede, you've got full control over the RPM and Throttle ranges, and you can set the boost to reasonable amounts at lower RPM while still maintaining the full boost at the top end. Having the boost follow your throttle and RPM makes the kit feel much more practical as an upgrade to a daily driver's vehicle, while also giving you the advantage of extra torque and WHP for those spirited weekend track days or back road drives. The Procede responds as quick as the Phantom, so there's no real "lag" added by the setup. This morning I came out of a sharp turn at speed and was able to instantly get back up to the speed limit, without needing to downshift and rev excessively like I would have had to with the activation switch. While the Phantom is a good value on its own, for the price of the Procede it becomes a much better, and more enjoyable setup all around. If you want a supercharge setup that's =half the cost of others on the market, and don't feel like you need the extra power or maintenance that comes from a turbo would provide in a similar price range, then the Procede is a great addition to the Phantom to make it feel more like a refined FI setup. Exactly. It's rather hard to beat that, for the price. The low end torque does wonders for the handling and feel of the car. Last edited by LucidMomentum; 09-02-2015 at 10:49 AM. |

@LucidMomentum, I'm working on a new tune, and new maps to go with it. I call it EconoSport because it gets better mileage, while still making good power on WOT. Just drove 70 miles to Wilsonville and back testing it out on a full tank of gas. It's still building up too much pressure in the lower, (>3500) RPM's. It's also still a bit twitchy when I suddenly let off the throttle. It pulls much better at 55 MPH in 4th gear though. Still nowhere near as quick as 3rd gear though. My earlier maps had the zero, (Half boost) point as low as 2000 RPM's. I've found it needs to be at least 3500, or it over-boosts. It seems my car can't handle manifold pressure over 14 PSI under 3500 RPM's. Over 3500 RPM's it goes like a bat out of hell though. EconoSport 3, the top one, is what I just used to drive 70 miles on, and EconoSport 4 is the bottom pic, which I'll try out tomorrow and see if it still over-boosts. I did get 34.5 MPG average on the trip, and I had to give it some heavy throttle occasionally to test for over-boost. Although these look similar, the scaling is different. On EconoSport 3 I started from the bottom and added 10, then 11, then 12 and etc. on up to 100. This gave me a zero point as low as 2875. On EconoSport 4 I just added 10 till i got to 3750 RPM's, then added 25 from there on up.

But if I didn't have the ESC I would have to either get another form of FI or I would have to get rid of the car. I've gotten spoiled by the VW's linear torque. |

RX8- ESC equipped BRZ is miles faster WRX Stage 1 - ESC BRZ is faster but the flat torque is deceiving(Wrx feels faster due to surge of torque but is actually slower) STI Stage 1 - STI might be a little faster but is very hard to shift properly and stay in the power(from my experience anyways). Ive raced new GTI's with chips and they are all slower on the top end. The one GTI that kept up was a new GolfR with stage 1, that was about the same acceleration. |

You guys are saying two different things. Fenton your saying its faster than what wndsfer says lol. I had a stage 2 WRX and it was quick although I don't miss the power that much maybe the torque. It was an 07 with the tiny td04 so it was insta spool. I ran 13.7 @ 100 vs the brz at 14.3 @ 97 so I imagine the ESC would push it a bit faster maybe ~102 traps .
