Hello, Chris from Utah. I'm a crazy car nut. I like all types. I've owned an aircooled bug, 2 Civics, a Mustang and now my current ride is this 2002 WRX. Have always loved the AE86 and can't wait for the GT86/BRZ/FRS to go on sale. Love that this car is 2600lbs and 200hp and rwd. That says it all. Should be a blast to drive and own. Love the theory behind the design of this car and its goals. Can't wait to see what the aftermarket has in store for this car. Will look amazing lowered with some wider wheels/tires and will sound great with intake and exhaust!

Hey family, I wanted to introduce myself as I have been trollin' the forums for the past few weeks.
I'm very antsy about this car as I am a Scion/Toyota/Subaru fan, and my little old tC is about to hit the 170k mark (purchased it in 2005 with 30 miles on it). The car has been crazy reliable, and still runs perfect with the same exact clutch from 30 miles which shows you that these cars are built to last. My tC really showed me how reliable Toyota vehicles can be, and I have no doubt in my mind that the 86/BR-Z/FR-S will be not only reliable, but great fun as well. |

Hello all,
Just saying hi, this forum is awesome and I'm really excited by the FR-S/GT-86/BRZ. I have an 03 Matrix, which is a blast to drive and, since it's weight is similar to the 86, I'm really excited for the (much) lower center of gravity and more power! Thanks, Cya around. |

Hey everyone, after following posts on this forum for so long, I've finally decided to join it. And I must say, the people on here are way nicer than many other forums out there, so keep sharing the love! My parents own an 04 Matrix XR, and I love it to death. We had an 07 Yaris hatch, which was not too bad but very toy-like. And now we have an 09 Prius which I absolutely dislike driving. So I'm waiting for the FR-S to bring back passion to the world of driving!

Hello from Canada. Been following the concept of this car since the beginning and I am thrilled with the final result. I currently drive a 2011 WRX with a couple things done to it. I want to add another car to my stable to use as a summer toy. The BRZ is looking like the perfect fit.

Hi guys,
My name is Martin, I'm from the UK, I've been following this car through its concept/development stages since it was first shown and I'm also guilty of being a lurker ![]() I've owned 3 Supra's over the last few years and am very excited for 86. Can't way to jump behind the wheel. Last edited by m_life; 12-04-2011 at 11:28 AM. |

Hi all,
First post, but been lurking here for a while. I'm usually an RX-7/RX-8 guy, but also am a big nut for Japanese sports/sporty cars in general. As for the 86, I've been a fan ever since the first FT-86 concept. I think this is the most exciting sports car to come out in recent years. Can't wait to drive it! Dave |

Hey!
Hey guys,
Long time lurker, first time posting. Thanks to everyone who has been feeding the site information, it's helped fuel my craving for information on this car. about myself quickly, 29, work in animation, long time car enthusiast and track guy. First car was a 89 240sx back in 1998 then a 91 240sx, moved to Vancouver, got a 1985 Toyota Corolla GTS that I've babied since I got it. Then got a 04 Mazda 6 for road trips and DD duties. And now I want the GT 86 because I love my AE86 so much, why not own the successor to a car I already enjoy the heck out of? Anyway, glad to be here, thanks again for the info people! |
