So, Subaru and Mitsubishi were partners in the war, but rivals in the rally championship. Huh.

And Boeing manufactured the B 29 Superfortress

GM was the parent company of NAA which manufactured the B-25 Mitchel Bomber and P-51 Mustang

BMW made engines for the Luftwaffe

Good enough to power a war machine, good enough for my sports car.

There are options to install larger calipers/rotors that will look stock. I cant imagine they would ever measure the parts to determine your rotor is 20mm larger than stock diameter.

Whats the bottom red strip portion of the tailights for? Is it just acting as a reflector or something?

Yeah, looks like a portion for reflection.

The Subaru Japan site does have some nice pics on it. And that 3D configuration is the coolest thing I've seen on a car web site. Looks so real from any angle.

It probably is a 2017... they may have just got the automatic versions out quicker due to less changes compared to the manuals.
