Could we see and engine swap with new Tacoma engine (2.4L turbo) in the FRS/BRZ/GT86/GR86 in the next year?

I had my Full Race headers ceramic coated for my 2004 STi and I never had any problems with them rusting, but that car was a garage queen and I never drove it if the road was damp. My friend had Invidia headers that were ceramic coated on his WRX and they began to rust after two years of daily driving in Oregon. I wish more companies used 321SS for headers, as it is far stronger and more corrosion-resistant than 304SS. Since Skunk2 is kind of a "budget" brand, I would check the welds before getting them coated. |

What are y'all's opinion on this spoiler (want to see opinions from non-GRC owner)? Spoiler only, don't look at the rest of the lip kit.
I'm disappointed that they changed their initial spoiler design and made it more aggressive and higher. Just trying to see if I should fork out $1,400 (yeah, shipping from Japan is stupid expensive). I don't want to run the same spoiler everyone else is. lol Not sure if it's just in my end, but I'm not seeing the image anymore. Last edited by Kaotic Lazagna; 12-03-2023 at 11:27 AM. |

I would say given it's location it's probably effective, but not my kind of thing. I'd personally either want one that hugs the roofline or not go with one at all.

Yeah, Grow's original design was hugging the roofline more. It was like the circuit Edition spoiler without the middle part attaching to the hatch. Very nice and OEM like. Appreciate you two's input. |

Also check to see if the locally can do the ceramic coating. I thought I needed to ship off to SoCal to get Ace EL header, but found a good shop can do good ceramic coating. That saved me a good chunk of money. This is another option. My buddy did was got his up pipe & down pipe shipped directly to the ceramic shop & asked them check the welding before getting it coated. Looks like I'll be saving my money. Lol. Hopefully Grow puts out their initial design in the future.
