Know how you feel dude, I dealt with that a lot. The thing about those funks is that they come and go but tend to drag you down fast; which probably also might explain a bit of your tendency to do research as it somewhat takes your mind off it enough to move forward. Finding any activity that will inevitably bring you to people might work well enough, I think I met the most people through either gaming or shooting pool in college; aside from that I just tend to get sucked into groups of friend's friends and so on.

As a few others have pointed out too, just say what you want. I'm initially pretty quiet, but once I start to get somewhat comfortable and say whatever / whenever people seem to get a better impression...and generally do laugh. I was a really quiet person overall till I started getting involved with a few gaming communities and messing around in vent / skype; though working as a teaching assistant through college may have helped that as well. Granted, there are certainly people who don't care at all for me and then those that really enjoy being around me, but I'm also a pretty sarcastic person in general and make light of most things...it's worked well for me.

Anyway, for the guys that are single and happy here's a story that you've probably heard:

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl "Will you marry me?"

The girl said "NO."

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and went fishing and hunting and played golf a lot and drank beer and scotch and had money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

The End.

So my friend is very into the tc I tired showing him the frs but it was a no go. He's not a car guy, he likes how simple the tc is, and loves the roof.
I was thinking of showing him the veloster (I find its ugliness cute) and I know it has a panoramic roof as well.
Anyone have any other car suggestions? I'll make him sit in a dart cause my friend works at the dodge dealership(and I wanna take the charger for a spin) but other than that I don't know, I want to show him other cars that are on the market. He also considered the Cruze before the tc

It was actually pretty funny, the whole time at the dealership he was like 'why do they keep asking me about add ons and customizing it? ' haha 'Chris its scion, modding is a common thing, especially with Tc' *smh* he does want to do foot well lights so that's cool-the dealership chargers 350$ for it. Holy shit-I'm definitely saving him from that.

Hah, god...that's awful (the dealership I mean). He's pretty keen on a Tc though? I had a hell of a time finding a coupe I liked until the FR-S was finally announced (at which point I jumped for joy...and had one of those faith in car makers restored moments)...I was tearing my hair out trying to convince myself I liked the available choices enough to buy one (sub $30k anyway, I mean...who wouldn't want an LFA or something).

Personally I actually like the 2nd gen Tc better than the first gen, I think the design is a little cooler. @IntotheOceanwhat color does he want? I would've SO gone for that crazy orange color they had for the last release series.
