I agree. Good follow-up video as well that gives some details about the car and the rebuild, including how the car came to be salvage even though it wasn't totalled.

8.5k redline, 670hp NA engine, engine sound is amazing.
Let’s wait until we start getting reviews, but I think this is one of ICEs that will be remembered in the long term.

From chassis standpoint, I did not see much details, but brakes is a new config and I hope they updated suspension too.

I 100% am in love with my Supra...but this thing is just in a totally different class.

Curious how much they will be.

Here in Idaho, the regular Vettes were getting like a $20k mark up over MSRP...or were being sold "used" with like 100 miles on them over MSRP.

Hand built motor…expecting something low-volume and unfortunately expensive.

Stingray was underpriced and they were not able to meet the demands, hence part of the reasons for markups. The car has an amazing base setup for the category.

It's not stirring my soul. 3900 lb and automatic isn't for me.

Much rather have the GT4 with a 6sp manual or the upcoming GT4 RS (if its also available with a manual). Anyone arguing that these are slower than the Z06 is nonsense to me b/c they're all so fast it doesn't really matter anymore. Driving engagement is more valuable a commodity.

Honestly I would even include the twins in this. I’d rather buy a BRZ for 30k than an auto corvette for 100k. How fast it is stopped mattering when almost any remotely sporty car started to get to 60 in 6 seconds.

It's not even about speed at this point. It's quite possible that the Z06 will be better in a multitude of ways than something like a GT4. Some subjective, and some based on the stats that this Z06 beast will produce. Agreed, though, that you can't take away from the fact that it is missing an MT, which is huge for MT enthusiasts. But this is already known since the Stingray, so anyone not interested with the initial release of the Stingray due to that factor is probably not even going to look over at the Z06. Aside from that, it's quite an incredible car for its price point and there is no argument to be made. Even a lightweight MT enthusiast like me can appreciate that.
