Hey what's up guys? I'm new hear been lurking since I heard about the car a couple months ago. Loved the scion concept and the rest is history ^_^

I've never owned a car that I wanted, when I was 18 my parents "gave" and by gave I mean they made me take over payments like over $11 grand on my moms 1999 jetta. The transmission was always trash, my dad had someone rebuild it like three times on that car and it was giving out again before I crashed and sold it to my Gardner for $500. I hated that car. Then my dad bought me a 1989 Toyota Camry, that too totaled and now I drive a 1993 Toyota Camry and On the playground is where I spent most of my days chilling out, maxin, relaxing all cool, and all shooting some b-ball outside of the school When a couple of guys who were up to no good, Started making trouble in my neighborhood. I got in one lil fight and my mom got sad and said, "You're moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air"

long story short, I need this car!!!

I was looking to replace my 9 year old Civic Si for my 40th this March. I was looking at the S2000, 370Z, Genesis, Miata , 325i, BMW1 and have finally decided to go with the Toyota! If I could afford it, id get a Lotus because I love the `adding lightness` philosophy, and the FT-86 is right along those lines ...hoping to be a part of history!

Hi Everyone,
First post here, been lurking a while. I've been a Subaru fan forever and have enjoyed my last 8 years with my 04 WRX wagon. It's time for a change, and for the last few years I've been lusting over a pre-owned 996 Porsche, but now I'm also considering going new for the same price and getting a BRZ. I'll wait until I can see and drive one before I make my final decision. So far I'm liking the looks and concept behind this car, I'm just worried I've been spoiled with boost and it'll be hard to go down to 200hp.

Alfie, that's cool. We're in the same city, currently drive the same car, and maybe in the future as well.

Hi! I've already been reading through this forum for a couple of months and now I thought that it would be a great idea to register just a few days before TMS. My whole life (okay, I'm not that old ) I've driven cars from Toyota. I actually think that you don't have all of them in the states, but I've started with a nice red Starlet. At the moment I'm driving a 10-year-old Avensis and my wife drives a Corolla. Nothing special, but this can be changed in a few months

I really hope that both cars will be a great thing to drive. If both cars will have the same HP, I'll take the Ft-86. If not, then I'm going for the faster one

Regards,
hez
