oooh, that sketchy part. lol. I think in the 2nd gen I did a quick brake right before it. Maybe I just need to full send it. LOL. But no matter what, I don't think I'll get anywhere near your times for either gens.

I can't read. For some reason I thought you had a 7:46 on the gen 2.

To be fair I have a zillion laps on Nords. I used to constantly hot lap the GT86 in AC with my old G920. I did that for years. I drove other stuff too but that was my go to 70% of the time.

Ooooh, yeah, I'm not even sure if I have 100 laps under my belt at the Ring.

Haha, I got my lap time down to 7:52 for the 2nd gen. Still no where near your time.

I went in to try to set more laps. I mostly wanted a 7:59 in the first gen and I got it.

First Gen 7:59.844
Second Gen : 7:46.293

2nd gen gives me absolutely no confidence. I feel sort of disconnected from the car and I feel my wheel can’t quite give me the feedback I need.

It weight transfers like a heavier car.

Exactly. The first gen, the car feels more raw, and I feel more confident to send it on the turns, but on the second gen, I have to fight oversteer more often.

Doing a one lap T.A was a lot easier on the 1st Gen than on 2nd, and even then, I would still not feel as confident.

Im wondering if Im reaching a level where my G29 wheel isn't quite cutting it for me.

GT7's feedback is really.....mild. I have my DD with the boost kit cranked all the way up and it still feels really weak. The G29 may not have enough FFB force to give you good feel.

I don't even think the g29 has True FFB. I've been looking into a DD from Fanatec or even the T-GT II from Thrustmaster. Worst case scenario I go with a Logitech G923.

I just have the base setup with boost kit, just two pedal. I played on a G920 forever.

I wanted the boost kit, three pedals, H shifter, and the handbrake. After I added everything in the cart, I was like, eeeeeehhhhhh, delete.
