It's an MR-S. ie, Toyota's car that can actually ass-rape the holy hell out of the twins in the handling department.

Just has the unfortunate heart of a Corolla.

I passed a car yesterday driving in rush hour traffic where the driver was going 60MPH talking on her phone and eating chinese food WITH CHOPSTICKS.

And no, she was not able to stay in her lane. Sorry, no photo proof, I was just too stunned to react and didn't want to hang close enough to try.

Octopus. It's the only answer.

I mean I've driven with my knees before when unwrapping a sandwich or something when I've eaten in a car, but that's been maybe a handful of times. Given the way atlanta traffic is, I'm surprised she dare eat anything that would need chopsticks....one sudden stop and it's in the floor.

Most of my problem is solved
Deleted her on fb
Sometimes you just gotta say fuck PR
My news feed is that much better. I always hated having to see her complain about work/random shit.
O poor you, you have to work 4 hours today and got to sleep till 9. What's that? You have to drive more than 10mins to work... Wow that's really rough.
Yep there's more-I'm honestly surprised I put up with it for as long as I did. I get her trying to mess with my job was a real eye opener to what kind of person she is.
I feel bad, she probably could have accomplished a lot if she worked harder and actually cared.

NEVER. Started in 3rd by accident about 3 times, that's it. The hills in Berkeley and SF are enough to give a roast clutch smell using 1st gear.

See, I wish the 1ZZ were as good as you say, but no, the early ones have a problem with burning oil, on top of having only 138 furious horses. I wind it up to 6k for fun sometimes, because why not.

Lol, as expected, scam email comes telling me to transfer money to some person. This is the poorest scam attempt ever, they didn't even mention "oh we sent you too much money" or "oh so and so gave you this", they even got the "company" name wrong Well, the contact they told me to send money to is going to have a nice visit from the cops soon hopefully

The way she was weaving around, I was tempted to cut her off just to let her find out how it felt to land in her lap but I was afraid she wouldn't notice and end up ramming me.

My brother has an MR-S with a 2ZZ. He's only let me drive it once, with my mom in the car.

His does need a little sorting out but it's pretty darn cool and he picked it up dirt cheap.

It's quite a bit of money to drop though, for a college student with no money. Should I just be a financially irresponsible 'murican (america! fuck yea!) and buy one? A used one at 200 dollars might be hard to turn down.

That is all.

Would she survive a car crash or die by chopsticks or should I just say straight up stupidity?

With 2ZZ it gains 20 pounds in the back, but 50hp, so it's all good. 370Z power, Miata nimbleness

Still, I prefer the "formula" of the 1st gen more, if they make a new MR2 it should be hardtop or targa (sexier looks than an ugly softtop) and have a "modern 4a-ge" (1.6L high revs), IMO. A 1.6 more performance-oriented motor can make just as much horsepower for only marginally more money, and should be able to shave off 30-40 pounds. By using a hardtop they should be able to improve chassis stiffness at the same curb weight, or drop another 30 pounds off (I guess that might be eaten up by additional crash safety though). Oh and, none of this 5 speed manual BS, 6 gears minimum please. If Hyundai can do it, so can you Toyota.

I almost bought a 1G supercharged this fall. Sitting on a couch after knee surgery for a few weeks meant I looked at every classified car ad ever.

I just don't have any space for a toy car right now.
