Hey my name is Serge. Long time mr2 owner from chicago. Had a total of 3 mr2's along with about 15-16 other cars. I'll have some interest in the ft86 but so far its meh. Once it comes out ill drive it and see if i like it. Then decide to buy it or not.
Some pics of mr2 ![]() ![]() ![]() old video on car Anyways just wanted to say what's up |

Hi, I'm new here... (been monitoring the forum for a while now)
My name is George, I live in VA (from Alabama...Roll Tide!!) and I'm very interested in the Scion FR-S. My 1st car was a hand-me-down Hachi ( 1986 Corolla GT-S [coupe]) that my mom bought when I was 6. Loved that car.. since I've had a Supercharged TRD Solara, a couple of TC's, a LGT, a WRX, and a couple of AWD Turbo Volvos..... oh.... and a civic. I'm glad that Toyota is gonna offer something sporty a RWD that dosen't cost an arm and a leg. I've been following this since I first heard rumors in 2007. Glad to give/receive any input. (4649!) |

greetings from Colorado,
Toyota enthusiast and long time Toyota Collector. 49 years old here going on 22. Race and ride MX, Race and ride MTB / BMX, Mogul Ski, Skateboard, kite surf, off-road rock crawling, street race, drive 600 HP cars to work on occasion, have all gen's of supra, mr2, celica..modified and stock turbo cars....fun car to drive with little to no HP !! mr2 spyder...down hill on a twisty turny road does not get much better. I have been keeping on eye on this car for as long as I can remember...2 years..LOL !! I put 1K down on the first one to get to my dealer !! black-manual ! This car will be useless for me here in Colorado with altitude and all, my plan is to drive it straight from the dealer to my tuner for engine swap (cosworth or stock STI) hoping to be close to the first to do so unless too many custom mods are needed....or....if the wife likes it better than her supra N/A auto, she can drive it stock for a bit, she also drives a 98 celica gt convertible, she drove an all-trac turbo celica untill recently..sold it to make room for the Scion. hard to say Scion :-/ Anyway, great read, looks like this will be the most popular forum for the car !! Hope to chat soon about driving experiences in the all new Toyota 86 / FR-S / FT86...... I am obsessed with digging up info on this car, I need to occupy my time in the next few weeks here,,,time is standing still waiting for its full production spec and pricing.

Hey guys! Been lurking on here since the beginning just decided to sign up, so that when I get my fr-s I can post it up for people who share my interest. I currently drive a 2007 Pearl White Scion tC and will be trading it in for the fr-s, most likely in satin pearl white. Love pearl white too much not to lol. Anyway here's a good shot of my current car.

Hi there, I'm Owen and live in the UK, I'm 22 married with 2 kids and work as a CAD engineer for Aston Martin. I drive a modified MR2:
![]() ![]() I've been interested in the FT86 since its announcement and even more so over the last week or two with all the "leaks". I've never had a new car before and never really wanted one - there's just not been anything that interests me enough - but the FT sounds so perfect that it's seriously on the cards. Though I love our MR2s it would be good to have a sports car that the whole family can fit in at once - so my only real worry is whether I'll fit (because I'm over 6'4"!) and whether kids seats will fit OK in the back! |

Hey all,
I've been lurking for the past week or two and thought I should come say hi. I'm in central Oklahoma right now and am seriously considering getting one of the Toyabaru's within the first year or two.
