Did you fiddle with the LSD?
IMO most of the mid-engine cars in this game are not very forgiving. Which is pretty annoying because they're not THAT bad in real life.

Yeah, I lowered the initial and the acceleration settings a little. My issue with it is the second you touch some grass or a tall curb, it'll just do what ever it wants and is very hard to regain control.

^I find that issue with most of the race cars, at least in the rain.
I was able to set up the LSD nicely I think, for the F1, in that it understeers a little bit but I adjust the line by lifting to get just a touch of rotation. That being said, I just spent a miserable hour in the Spa race coming in dead f*cking last place. In fact I parked the car for the final 30 seconds by the final chicane so I wouldn't have to do another lap. The rain in my race was more severe than usual and at one point when I should have gone for Wets I chose Intermediates instead. I also found that as the track dries out this car seems to have more accelerated rear tire wear (than the Aston I usually use for this race) and when you get to 50% tread in the rear the car is close to undriveable. (for me at least). I also didn't get the CRB because I passed under yellow (after having passed the incident, dammit). aaaaaaaaaack

Same happened as well, I got more downpour in that race, but comparing dry traction and one bar wet traction. I'll just continue using the R34. |

I'm going to try the McLaren on all the medium/short length 800PP WTC races that I haven't done yet, but for now I will be sticking with my Aston Martin for money making on Spa.

Finally completed the races. Now left w License & Missions.
Now, I was checking which cars allowed wide body vs which ones don’t. Countach doesn’t allow wide body make sense… but 308 GTB, F8, F12, 458 & even LaFerrari allow wide body, but not Testarossa? Wtf Even wide ass Carrera GT & CTR3 allow more wider fenders! GT WHY?!?!?!?!? |

I finished all the races, I think, yesterday. Didn't get 1st in all, but all but one I got some kind of podium finish. One race I got 4th.
So I tried doing the circuit experience. I did Tsukuba a while back, so I tried LM. Pretty dang hard, especially since I'm not used to Gr1 cars and all of their grip. Maybe I'll try some shorter tracks first, or tracks with Gr2 cars or lower. LOL. |

Last night at 1145pm I ran the route X at 240mph to get my daily ticket. Then I switched to No Man's Sky to send my frigates out on missions. At 1210am I switched back to GT7 and did a few races I didn't have 1st in to get todays ticket, lol. (I have a wedding to go to today). Don't judge me though I saw 2 other people on around the same time, and maybe they were just up late playing but it had me all like are they also...

Lots of people are crying that especially race cars are too easy and numb now… honestly I don’t care so long as road cars stay the way they are now. They were JANKY before and they’re a lot of fun now, and pretty realistic too I think. I sort of wish I tried Nordschleife CE before the fix. Had heard it was super hard, only GT challenge harder was the Vettel X challenge in GT5 (which I never tried to gold.) The first sector in Nord CE took me almost as much time as 80% of the other sectors. 4 or 5 I got gold on first completion. I would have gotten gold on first 1-lap attempt except I stepped out into the grass on the LAST TURN and lost maybe 0.3 sec, missed it by 0.1. It was ok, made a lot of errors and would have probably done another lap regardless. Got gold handily on second attempt. Cool 6 mil. |

I can't really speak of how Gr1 cars were pre update, but to me, they are still a handful now. |

Maxed out the collector level. Weird how it just stops at level 50. Guess you don't have to collect every single car to max out.

Does going widebody make a car handle better? (via more tire grip). I haven't looked into that, though naturally it SHOULD.
I tried CE on Le Mans yesterday. Thought it would be easy since I run LeMans all the time. And it mostly was. But, holy crap you can take that last section fast in the Peugeot! I golded each section but not the whole lap yet. Because it could take a while. You make one tiny mistake and forget it, 3 minutes lost. So a little tedious. Especially annoying if you trip up close to the end.
