Not bad at a couple of dollars per round compared to typical AA ordinance. You have as much ammo as available electricity.

We picked up two of these. One is at the top of the stairs and the other is plugged in between the TV and the wife’s sewing machine. If those fail, we have the akimbo rangers tucked under the pillows. #HomeDefense #DeepSleeping

CZ457 Varmint in 22LR. The walnut stock is very nice. Weiner dog approves!

Scope is a Vortex Diamondback 4-16x44. Can't wait to mount it... but silly me bought the totally wrong scope rings so I'm just waiting on the correct set to come in. Cannot wait to try this out!

I do that all the time. I think I have 2 sets of rings in my desk right now because they are the wrong ones

I need a riser for my .22, I am maxed out on elevation at a little shy of 300 yards.

Not so much a riser as a 20 or 30 moa canted mount/rail.

There are lots around for the CF crowd, not sure about RF.

Ouch, that .357 sig is not common though. Maybe see if you can do a caliber conversion to something that is more reasonable for plinking/practice purpose. Depending on the gun you maybe able to rebarrel to .40 without too much issue.

Gun is a Glock 27, so came 40s&w, and I got plenty of that to plink. Takes like 10 seconds to switch barrels, and you use the same mags with both ammo. The only Glock approved conversion.

Got it all set up and my case cutouts done!

Had a chance to join my brother-in-law as a guest at his range over the weekend. Was able to sight in at 50yds and shot ~200 rounds. First range experience and it was a BLAST. I cannot wait to go back, hopefully as a member.

I was very impressed with the accuracy at 50yds using pretty cheap ammo (CCI Standard Velocity). My best group was very close to the factory one, which I can only imagine will improve as the gun breaks in and if I use some "better" ammo. Though my average group size was probably closer to 0.75".

Shot a few mags worth at 100 yds just for fun to see how high I would need to hold, but didn't measure any of those groups. It's pretty cool to be able to see such a slow bullet as it hits the target.

Given I've never really shot anything past 50yds, let alone any real benchtop shooting I'm pretty happy with how things went!

Shooting a good .22lr at 100 out will teach you a lot about wind and elevation. A 7” hold over at 100 turns into 55” or so at 200.
