is that healthy?
I don't see how it could be "good" to have that steep of a camber angle, but there is probably something crazy and mechanical about how / why it works. If it works lol. |

The new rear suspension on the STI's has an upper wishbone with lower lateral and toe control links so it can add negative camber as the suspension compresses. Fronts are still MacStruts with don't really change their camber under compression. For a hard-running track car negative camber allows the tire to roll onto more contact patch under cornering, generating more lateral grip.

right, but it looks to me like that car doesn't see any track time. i would think it would rub like crazy if you really loaded a corner up with some weight transfer.

it's not so much the camber that makes me think it doesn't see track time, but unless there's some magic going on there, i don't see how that tire won't rub under more compression than you get sitting in a parking lot, hehe.

It does rub. The rear arches are fucked up.
![]() I have nothing against hella flush on a parked car. BUT only when it's parked. This is why only the fly automatically/manualy adjustable suspension should be used so when your parked, great your slammed with nice camber, but when you take off the car adjusts itself to be usable. I'm not talking about just bags either

This has all been mentioned with the new pics, but the photos of the FT-86 MkII concept under the sheets looks to have 2 exhaust exits. But as many people have mentioned, this is still a concept and the production version could still be different from what we see. |

Yeah! It's probably safe to say that if the production model is a single exhaust/dual exit, then companies would definitely make an aftermarket single exit exhaust. If they're anything like the single exit S2000 exhausts, they'll be loud as hell! LOL!
