I was close to buying tickets for this to go cheer him on in person!

Is he really not competing? Because I'm still looking forward to going ONLY if he is racing.

He still does not show up on the entry list. I will watch the live feed on Saturday in the hope of seeing him race but it does not look good.

Nope, just a bunch of Civics and Kia Fortes (link to results below). I sure hope the FRS shows up at Road America next month.

Tony is still listed 1st in points.

Just checked the race results. Seemed like everybody was sharing the podiums all weekend. I was expecting the RX8's to dominate all of TCA without Tony. They took a 1st place win on one of the days. But as in traditional rotary style, they suffered mechanical failures through the next races letting the Civics and Fortes get ahead.

Hopefully Tony shows for the next event and sweeps.

They have not updated the points and added rounds 4-6 yet. I believe the announcer said he dropped to fourth after the Saturday race. I did not get to see the race today due to travel. He may have dropped even further.

Thanks for the clarification. It was sad seeing no FRS competing. The FRS in TCA is exactly what this car needed. Thankfully I didn't get tickets. Hopefully missing ctmp was just a fluke.

Road America is next. Let's see if he will show. He should be sitting mid-pack in the points then I guess.

Disappointment once again, Tony Rivera is not on the TCA entry list for the Road America race this weekend. It looks like the great results at COTA may have been a one-off and he will not be back this year with the FR-S.

At least the car proved that it could be more than competitive in professional racing if it is entered in the proper class. Maybe will will see someone step up next year and campaign the entire season.

Too bad.

We are considering campaigning our Spec86 Cup car in PWC TCA Class next year but need to get it sorted out this season first.

I was hoping for the frs to clean house at road america. I can see the car having a lot of advantages there. Sadly, no more frs competing.

Yep, that is great news! He must have been a late entry. I will be tuning in to all three races to watch him run. I hope he puts on a show like he did at COTA. It will be interesting with those long straights and the power advantage of the Civic Si and RX8. Hopefully, the aero on the FR-S will be an equalizer.
