This header in weird way reminds me of Nameless one. As in both have uncommonly long to most of other headers runners, just nameless tucked excess length in front of engine, but extra length for this goes at expense of overpipe's length.
LOL, what if it gets in next iteration even longer runners, with using both approaches

Really? Showing off a new header fully wrapped up in heat wrap on the first page? That is like presenting a new smoking hot bikini model in a full winter clothing. Come on!

EDIT: Just went through the whole thread and I like the design. Can't wait to see the tuned power numbers.

Right now we are very happy with the design and do not plan to make any changes...(only took 2 years)....

We had a very good showing at AMPA last week and will be running the Taiwan Speed Festival enduro next week.

All of our customers in Europe and Asia have been very pleased with the increased torque and quality of the parts.

We'll post some photos after next weeks race, fingers crossed we can finally get those damn S2000's

Happy driving

Is only dyno sheet available - that 'stock ECU' without tune one? Can you PM me, which brand in that 'vs. "Major Japan brand"' is, if that is something you try to not post public?

It would be nice to do at least two dyno runs with comparing completely stock vs just header+tune, as most changing header also do ECU retuning. It would also help to actually compare vs other headers here, that in many cases posted dynos this way. Otherwise just by available dynos for your header w/o tune look worse stacked vs headers+tunes max gains wise here .. and even that 'vs Major Japan..' not helping slightest, as w/o knowing which, one cannot add up vs other posted dynos here.

I'm sorry but we will not release the name of the compared header(s), we try to respect that different companies have different business methods. Our method is for max quality and results, others are for max profit.

We can however, get some tuned dyno numbers for everyone. There is a set at Delicious now waiting to be dynoed, but after our race next week we can publish ourselves as well.

Hold on folks, more data coming soon!

Any other requests just let us know and we'll do our best.

Then there is no sense on having that dyno sheet of comparison with that 'unknown major brand', as it will not help in any way on making purchase decision. And worth to remove claim that you will supply more info by inquiry via PM or email, as it's not possible to release according your business practices.

Regarding dynos: if possible, i suggest releasing several in one sheet:
1) completely stock baseline (which will help greatily to see % gains no matter what low or high measuring dyno is used);
2) one with just header changed (or maybe at most +$40 drop in aftermarket filter, as that's what most will do), will help evaluating for those not wishing to touch stock ECU tune and also will help showing importance of tune (3.) to get everything out of your product;
3) header + tune. I guess that this is what might give your product most competitive look among competitor products, if it does perform at least within 10% of others (of course hopefully better then them )
4) header + tune + other exhaust bits (to compare against headers, where vendors or users released dynos with everything installed)

If dyno time is limited, then at least go with 1 & 3. Enough for showing off well what your header alone brings, easy to compare data with others', will show how well it fixes infamous 'torque dip'. If you have lot of free time for that and access to E85, you can also add 5) with header+tune+other exhaust bits+E85 for what near to maximum your product may bring to NA mods customer, but it is somewhat redundant, as most know what E85 brings on top of all the other aftermarket bolt on parts, and can simply sum that approximate number to (3.). As it needs retune and to have access to E85 (don't know how ar things with that on your side of pond ), can be skipped.

I suggest to add this dyno sheet to opening post, as not everybody reads through whole thread, at least initial interest needs to be caught by data in OP (for which also imho final header pics placed on top might help better, then those of wrapped prototype).

With only current available/posted dyno data your product looks very bleak against competitors' and purchasers may go for it only by it's looks and by playing guessing game on how it will perform. At price of $1400 there won't be much customers to decide trying out their chances.
Once dino-s will be out, you'll be able to claim easier that "this product will bring +## whp/+## wtq over stock on petrol (or E85)" - now that in my eyes will make users evaluate/compare/consider purchase, not just as of yet - opening this thread, looking pics, spending some time staring at current dyno sheet .. and forgetting about this product. Not current "it's +2-3hp .. over something .. over something unknown we won't tell about". Seeing how others doing just ~ +10-15whp without tune (in rare cases, when it's shown in dynos as well), and +10-20 extra with specific tune (which in most cases reported/dyno-ed by vendors, probably due being significantly higher numbers), that also may make this header look worse then it might have.

happy with only "first position"? It doesn't look "first" among others in this forum yet , simply because it's vs that of others representation, by others posting somewhat comparable dyno sheets, but you - not comparable one against theirs + fact that you won race against other cars of unknown setups and at track where race performance is almost not known for other headers here, at least not in that particular race (unless someone knows japanese and setups are listed in posted scans = again nothing affecting choice for english speaking potential customers).

P.S.
I hope you'll not think of this post as product bashing. Your header and ideas in it's construction with incorporating overpipe seem very interesting and promising to me. I somewhat expect to see gains similar to other top headers .. but i just don't know it yet. And i certainly won't ever spend it's asked price w/o knowing/just guessing if it performs as good as it looks. Hence if there are others like me (how i guesstimate), imho that performance data will help your sales a lot (and not just in US but also elsewhere worldwide, as this forum is one of most popular for toyobaru twins and many doing information digging here in addition to local country forums).

How about you just compare all the headers of the 4-2-1 headers that are out there? Just an idea. @churchx
Similar to the guy who compared ALL superchargers in the FI thread.

Team ACE is off to the TSF enduro this weekend.

We've lined up a stock 86 for next week and will do dyno pulls with the following:

- Stock
- Ace 4-1 header
- Ace 4-1 header + frontpipe
- Ace 4-1 header + frontpipe + Delicious stage 2
- Ace 4-2-1 header
- Ace 4-2-1 header + frontpipe
- Ace 4-2-1 header + frontpipe + Delicious stage 2

E85 is not available here so can't do any pulls with that.

happy drivin folks

Team Ace finished 2nd in class 8th overall.

Beat out by 86 (2.5L sti), 3 WTCC (Chevy Lacetti x2 and BMW320i), '14 Impreza, Nissan Silvia S15 and Honda FD2

Finished 5sec behind class leader after closing at 7sec/lap...we ran out of fuel with 5min to go and started breaking up in corners...oops

Delicious, Racer-X awesome job!

Any more info about the contact you are getting? Just wondering if it's something that will be revised, or can be fixed with a hammer
