Hmm that sucks ... was hoping for a space saver.

Edit .. that looks terrible ... DIY space saver install / new carpet job coming right up.

just buy a space saver at a wrecker and leave the spare at home if it concerns you.

Am I the only person going the GT model? All I want extra is push start button and sat nav.
I can't imagine the larger discs making much difference, the calipers are still the same right?

The already limited boot space is compromised with that spare. If you remove it, there's a giant friggen hole to the metal sub frame.

You can write it off as whinging if you like but this is a two way discussion forum not a Toyota circle jerk so people are discussing it.

Im of a mind to get what ever one i can for launch, without a deposit down... white manual.

I want the 17' rims too, i normally change wheels on my car but i like the look of these, all i will do to them is paint the gloss black

bigger brakes & digital speedo is cool too, but at the end of the day, i dont look at the speedo too much anyway

I already have rims on order so I don't care much for them. Yer I guess the digital speedo is pretty good. I don't think I could justify paying 5k extra...

For reference here's my current space saver install ... could do something like this for the 86 using the stock mount point and some new sheeting/carpet.
