Yeah I also use salt bags in my trunk...can't forget those.

Yes I am tired of the winter and want summer back.
Driving in winter with the Primacys? I wish this was Quebec because people like you should get pulled over...thats endangering other drivers around you.

He was banned, probably for being a giant douche bag.

This.
It isn't the conditions that cause danger and difficulty.

It's the idiots who are doing 20kph because they didn't get snow tires (not saying specifically the poster with Primacies - more like 10% of Toronto drivers I see, who make life dangerous and unpredictable for the rest of us).

I would suggest it's more like 45 - 50% and then I'm being generous

Haha 10% are bad because of the lack of snow tires.
An additional 40-50% are bad because they should really be on the bus.

I only have a ten minute drive to work and it's bad enough I don't know how the rest of you survive those daily extended commutes.

Not much snow left in my area.....but cold as.....well.....just frreakin cold!! But I did wash my car yesterday, and did not dry it off....and it was -22C this morning....and no problems!! Doors, trunk all opened fine!! Windows did stick (but they usually do anyways at that temp), so had to do a reset once it warmed up but all is well!!
Heated seats worked great and I find that having the A/C button "on" keeps the windows nice and clear!(it acts like a de-humidifier to take the moisture out of the air).

had to drive from sauga into north york on saturday night

401 was a hoot, had a few close calls where i could feel the car lose all traction

saw a 4 car spinout about 100 yards in front of me, luckily the rest of the people didn't panic and good thing it was at 1AM.

crazy night.
