There is a Mellow Mushroom on Shallowford at Trickum, its about 4-5 miles from GCBBQ, just west. Has a huge parking lot, near Lassiter HS. We could meet at GCBBQ and then eat at MM...

I'm down for wherever. I clicked on the map for GCBBQ at the beginning of this thread and it shows 2 locations? Which one are we supposed to meet at?

When I clicked the map link it put me on the one close to my house, so I thought it was that one. The one in Milton is closer to 400. I am going either way, but the same problem of the location being closed at 730pm exists. There are a couple of places close to there but I don't know how casual or inexpensive they are... but there is another Mellow Mushroom off 92 not far from there.

I'm not trying to push MM, just throwing out something familiar.

Sooooo, how do we go about just changing the Meet up spot? And how does GCBBQ
get the nod for the Meet if it closes at 7:30? I'm assuming whoever set it up just didn't know.

Since I know the owner, they are staying open later just for us.

Yeah, noticed when I was leaving that there were some cars down the parking lot row a bit, not amongst the others.

It was cool to see all the cars, but have to say, being a newcomer to the gathering, I kinda felt like an outsider. Only one person introduced themselves to me, a WRX owner named Brian. I'm on the more introverted side, but introduced myself to a few people, including our host Matt (2pt5rs).

Sat at a table in the restaurant with 7 others, and absolutely no one introduced themselves to me--the rest of the table was having their own conversations/jokes. I eventually talked to a WRX owner from NY who also seemed to be an outsider.

I'm not complaining--this is an informal social gathering, and no one has a responsibility to facilitate introductions, and we're not going to wear nametags. Just an observation. Next time, I'll make more of an effort to meet the BRZ/FRS owners. Would be good to see or give insight into things like tint, exhaust/intake choices, touch-up paint, clear bras, opticoat, backup cameras, tunes, stereo upgrades, engine bling, wheels/tires, etc.
