Thanks for the insight. I went out and actually measured the gaps and there is a 1/8" difference in height. Just wiggling it wouldn't make it move.

Oh, what the heck, I'm mostly deaf in one ear, don't hear too good in the other; one eye has poor eyesight, the other is worse; I had to have my left kidney removed, which made me heavier on the other side ....... so, why in the hell am I going to worry about a slightly lopsided set of tail pipes ...... especially when I can't see them when I'm driving!
