Me too. I've only seen actually experienced mileage mentioned in two reviews, for around 21 and 22 mpg. Not on the track either, just enjoying mountain roads. That's a little disturbing, considering how good the EPA numbers are.

The one I saw this week had a little under 900km and was at 7.9l/100km, Soo you do the maths to convert to MPG :P but I believe its pretty good!
Edit: as compared to this ride anyways! <----------------------- |

Way better than all my cars lol, my c63 barely makes 20 MPG on the highway , my ram only gets to about 16MPG and that is feathering the throttle on the highway, my wifes a4 gets around 30 on the highway and my e420 gets around 25 Highway so yup it kills every single car in my house MPG wise. Funny thing is its going to be my track car and it gets better fuel economy than my cars that i drive on the street lol.

Well I currently drive a 1994 Tercel and I get roughly 30mpg in the city. Thats with me flooring it every chance I get to keep up with traffic with my 70 hp, if that lol. Not sure about highway cuz I don't drive on the highway.

Well my lifted, armored and supercharged FJ Cruiser gets about 15MPG average so the FR-S is great for me. I never intended on commuting the FJ but I got into the school I wanted which is 25 mi from home and moving closer isn't a better option.

My 1990 Celica GTS averaged 9L/100 on regular on its last tank. Mostly city driving so a bit better than the EPA(adjusted) value of 11.8 city/9.0 highway. I figure the manual FRZ on premium will be about the same cost as my current car on regular. The interesting part is, based on the EPA numbers, the better fuel economy of the automatic would take years to pay off the cost of the automatic!
We need more real world fuel consumption results to best understand what this cars fuel consumption will be like? Hopefully early owners will start to share. |

I have a v6 taco 4x4 it gets maybe 20mpg. It's not my DD. My DD is a 89 Corolla that is now getting in the high 20's mpg. It used to get low 30's mpg. An Auto FR-S will be the new DD.

Im pretty sure the last time I checked an APU Supra's gas mileage, it was somewhere around 10 or less...
That's with spirited driving. Always.

Hi guys,
My slow-ass automatic Golf 2.0 has its advertised MPG roughly the same as the FR-S. So, with the inherently higher cost of the premium fuel, I'm about the same on fuel costs. But fuel cost is very much irrelevant when I'm -$25.000 out of the pocket. If I pay $1500 in fuel costs annually now, the new total would be equivalent to $6500 in fuel cost over the next 5 years. If I could hold on the the FR-S for at least 15 years, I would probably even out a bit. Buying a car is always a bitch... I hate to be a downer. |

Thats what i currently drive. No matter what im sure im gonna get better mileage :P a 3.8L V6 as opposed to this. According to the pre release mpg numbers im going to get the same distance in the 86 as i do currently with my VT, only the VT fuel tank is 75L and the 86's is only 50L Not sure what that is in gallons sorry yanks |

I drive an '04 Civic LX with which I get 30 mpg on regular fuel. When I ride my '92 CBR 600 F2 I can get up to 50 mpg premium. FRS MT is going to hurt more than both of those... but it's gonna hurt sooo goooood.

I got 16mpg on the first fill up in my Mustang, that's what I'm expecting from now on.

The FR-S gets 22-24mpg in the city and 30mpg highway, correct?
Without a doubt it's better than my SC300 which gets 13-15mpg city and around 20-22 highway. Love it, though. The FR-S fuel economy looks to be about the same as my previous Honda Prelude Type SH except for the city mileage. That was 16-22mpg city (depended on how it was driven) and 27-29mpg highway.

I will be honest. I am still a bit bummed that my 2.0L turbo gets equivalent gas mileage of a 2.0L BOXER, but outputs a lot more horsepower and torque.
