Thanks for the input on the blip shift feature. I have yet to use it. I'll update later with my experiences.
The blip shift helps with rev matching when entering a corner and downshifting. Basically when you hit the brakes to slow down, then clutch in, the throttle body will blip the rpms up. You will need to quickly downshift into the lower gear, then release the clutch. A properly rev matched downshift prevents the rear wheels from potentially getting unsettled during hard braking when there is a lot of forward weight transfer

For those accustomed to doing a proper heel toe shift, you will not need this feature. Hope this explanation helps.

Running great. The cold weather is a double whammy with extra power and harder tires, definitely leaving the TC on full time haha.

Finally got back to autocross for what is likely to be my last event of the year. I plan to return to the Blizzaks and my stock muffler tomorrow. Here's a video compilation of my best counted and personal best runs of the day.

Brief update:

Got my stock muffler back on, turned the boost back up to around 8psi. I noticed the car was running just a tad rougher with the muffler until I turned the boost back up, I think she might have been a bit rich. It's running fantastically now and I actually CANNOT get it to backfire anymore...

I'll be swapping exhausts with a friend a couple Mondays from now. He has the unresonated FT86 speed factory exhaust. It's loud as all hell on his N/A car, but when we put my muffler-deleted catback on his car that was a lot louder. I'm hoping the exhaust finds a nice balance on my car. As always I will try to post videos to give an idea.

I may throw together something to show what a mostly stock exhaust sounds like. As of right now I only have Perrin overpipe and catted front pipe aftermarket past the turbo.

And another brief update. I have traded exhausts with @No Brakes. Those of you who have seen us at autocross no doubt noticed that he was the most obnoxiously loud car you had seen there all day. This is not the case when you add a turbo into the mix. His FT86 Speed Factory exhaust is making positively glorious sounds when partnered with my AVO turbo kit. I'm going to try and get some exhaust clips on video to share with you guys. Stay tuned...

I was having slight stumbling issues with throttle tip in. I also had another one of those rolling stalls due to my light-weight flywheel. Brought the car back to PTuning and got the following results with the new catback exhaust.

I lost a small amount of top end but the low end torque has increased quite dramatically. The torque delivery is far smoother as well, which should help a lot with usable power at autocross.

Rolling stalls irk me immensely. I was having them too with my lightened flywheel and clutch. They seemed to happen more frequently when I would roll into my driveway. I have a remote start so while I'm in my driveway when it stalls, I would have to start it again to set my remote start sequence just to get out to turn it off.

I received a tune revision today that I hope will resolve it with a slight bump in idle.

That has been the solution so far. The issue is how fast the revs can fall on this car. The stock idle was shit anyway if the A/C compressor was on, let alone with a lightweight flywheel.

I also want to add an important clarification to my last post. The power loss is due to the fact that this new catback has a muffler, whereas before I only had a resonator in the catback. The improvement to the low-end toruqe is entirely due to a slight boost leak that was fixed.

There is a PCV that attaches to the top of the engine with no clamp. This is fine when that is only a vacuum line, but it becomes a boost line with a turbo. The guys at PTuning added a clamp to this line and it has allowed the boost to build a lot sooner.

Car sounds amazing at the auto cross, im sure the power you gained from the turbo kit made the car much more joyful to drive.

Valid point. On the stock tune before the clutch and flywheel I had a few rolling stalls.

Got any pics of the clamp they added and where?

I don't have a picture but, if you take the panel off the top of your engine there are a couple hoses there, I believe it was one of those that did not have a clamp. There is another hose that is under the A/C compressor that they warned might pop off when pushing 12 psi or higher (something I'm not doing because I'm still running 93).

It could also be a hose that comes into the back side of the engine. I didn't help put the clamp on so my memory on it is fuzzy. @ptuning could chime in and inform us.
