Care to elaborate on that one?

Do you wish to elaborate on the "Koni" portion?

Aren't RCE yellows manufactured by Eibach too? Sounds like Eibach does a lot of aftermarket OEM stuff (oxymoron?). We need specs - drop distance and spring rates!

Why are the Koni inserts a joke? Cause you're not sure how to install them?

I doubt these will be lower than 0.6" front and rear, just like the STi pinks.

So I called my local dealer and was told he had no record of any being shipped yet and that he saw some stop sales on them and that he couldn't place an order. Anyone else run into this?

If they cover the shocks/struts, and have a similar to OEM spring rate, im in! After riding on stiff coilovers for 2 years im loving this ride to much lol

Is it true that coilovers are generally stiffer (even at their softest setting if damping is adjustable) than a spring/strut combo?
Is it true that coilovers wear out faster (they are generally smaller) than correctly matched springs/struts?

The only advantage I see with coilovers is if you need adjustability to slam/stance your car and/or stiffness for track use.

The short answer is it depends. You can't lump all springs together, and you can't lump all coilovers together. There's a wide range of both.

Also, our car technically comes with coilovers, they just aren't adjustable. It's a coil over the shock.

Generally, yes...a coilover has firmer spring rates than a regular spring set-up and can feel stiffer if the valving is not good. But sometimes it is good.

For longevity it depends.

I'm gonna write a post on springs vs. coilovers soon.

Will keep everyone posted.

now with these springs installed and also if you have aftermarket wheels would you be voiding the warranty since you have aftermarket wheels? i mean i guess if anything happened i could always swap out and put on my winter wheels that have winter tires with stock wheels ... anyone know if this price of 210 is legit ? i wonder what the installation cost would be
