We were surprised too. "That's the tool?" But it works.

So I installed the kit, haven't done the flash yet. When I turn on the car, the display shows the ethanol % for couple of seconds and then switches to temp. is that normal? how can I make it to just show the ethanol %?

I would install the tune and see what happens. It may not be reading the value because the tune tells it where to get the value from.

Got my kit installed and will be editing the install video tonight.

The display should show ethanol percentage regardless of tune. We switched my car on but not started it and it showed e 8. We didn't even have the ecu cables connected. You may want to recheck your wiring.

Is it normal to get a CEL without tuning it and with the kit installed?

I believe so because the tune repurposed that sensor and stock it thinks the sensor isnt connected.

Same here, I got e11 when I turned my car on without the tune. Just the on position, never started the engine, but I never saw any sort of temperature display.

I got it, installer error. I had the blue and white/green wires touching. Everything is good

Great video @post_break & @cobrabyte, well explained and concise.

Just a note to Aussie/Euro members on the fuel line install - I noticed while installing mine that the fuel hose is connected to the metal pipe with only a hose clamp, as opposed to the US plastic + metal fitting.

I had to ditch the included plastic + metal fitting because it didn't fit on securely and is easily pulled off due to the different shape of the metal pipe. Instead I just cut the hose to desired length, fitted it over the metal pipe and re-used the hose clamp.

We noticed the same thing, and if you didnt order the harness, your gonna have a bad time... our ecu doesnt use that position. and we had to steal a pin from the head unit that wasnt being used.

Currently on e57, CEL on, no Traction conrtol on, cruise control gets locked on and doesnt work, and there is no maps to switch. tune feels smooth, but no noticable gains at this point.

Need to do a log, and sort out these CEL codes - P2419 & P2401

The pin stealing doesn't sound too bad. It's only one wire after all but it is an unwanted nuisance. Thanks for the heads up!

I've only installed the fuel line assembly at the moment and planning to move to the wiring next week. By the sound of things your flash didn't go too well and sounds half done - @Visconti & @Rich@ViscontiTuning any comments on this, as what JiB is saying doesn't sound good at all.
