Why the sad face? As if I'm supposed to be upset over that? Have you seen it? How did the FR-S tell you? I have yet hear my FR-S speak. Maybe the owner told you?

I ordered mine on a Sunday, speed factory told me they had just sold one that Friday before. If there are 2 the area that just means us southern guys and gals have good taste. Hell it means 2 of the 6 were in pecola at the same time Friday to Saturday morning. As far as the edit, can't smart ass a smart ass. It does read much better though.

Well, been over a week and a half and my exhaust is hitting or being hit by something under the car. It's not rocks. It's a repetitive clinging noise. Happens when going over rough pavement or under breaking or even a combination of both. Any ideas before I take it in to get looked at?

I had the same problems as well. Plenty of clanking noises. Just need to change those rubber exhaust hangers to a stiffer one to keep things nice and tight.

I haven't replaced my hangers yet. I got underneath the car and adjusted it for the time being. No more clanging. Any recommendations on hangers? I only see a few brands on the main 86 part sites, they all have pretty much the same descriptions. @FT-86 SpeedFactory.

Most of them are all the same. Just a harder polyurethane over stock.

You shouldn't need aftermarket exhaust hangers for the exhaust to fit. Have you figured out where it is making contact with the chassis?

Stiffer hangers will help keep things in place. The stock ones should work just fine though. Every car and install is different though.

Mine did that too after I installed it in my driveway on jack stands. Went to a small shop and put it on a lift and pretty much hung on it slightly to get it to stay the mm it needed to keep from rubbing. It's a tight fit in that one spot. I've had mine for months and haven't had any problems on the stock hangers.

Somewhat unrelated, I see a few posts stating that the EVO3 is drone-prone. I'm assuming these posts are talking about the EVO3 without the silencers, right?
I've had it for a couple of weeks now and I have zero complaints as far as droning (or anything else, for that matter).
I did try it without the silencers, though. I'm not sure I'd describe the experience as "drone" as much as "mind-numbing deafening rumble of death".
