I think once the scion FR-S commercial come out, it is going to be bad ass! Because all the current and past Scion commercials were pure suckage!

Scion needs to grow up a bit and do this car right!

I mean the Scion Lineup is pretty good right now with the addition of the FR-S.

All they need now is a Scion version of the Prius C...make is more sportier and scionified, and a turbo version of the IQ....and a convertible...make a new MR-S and make it a scion but put in the 2.0 liter boxer engine midship...

im kind of glad they didnt have an ad on the superbowl. i cant believe how many fake auto enthusiasts started getting wet about the nsx. when i was out watching the superbowl. I wouldnt want those people to represent the image of a "frs" user. Although I know everyone and their mommas will have one haha

I think you're missing the point of Scion and what they're trying to offer. They aim their cars for young adults (mostly high school grads and college students) who want A-to-B vehicles with style, not speed*. They're more on IMAGE than passion of driving. Although, they are offering the FRS as their first TRUE sports car, most of us already know that it's just Toyota's way of saving it's baby company.

The IQ does not need to be turbo'd. LMAO!
why on earth would you want something that small to have a turbo? if you crash that thing at >70mph you are more likely to be killed than survive, so it doesn't need any speed adjustments. It was meant to save gas(economical) and be affordable.

A new MRS is possibly in the works, but would not fit with Scion's "affordable for the youth" slogan. I'm sure if they do release the MRS, it would be sold as a Lexus than Toyota, or Scion with a starting cost of >$40k.

I think Lexus GS is better.
You need to find the hidden meaning in the GS commercial.

I saw it at the beginning of the game and noticed the 4 metal boxes behind the GS but thought it meant different trim levels for the GS...

But I just looked it up... Lexus says they represent 4 additional new models it plans to reveal later this year. Anyone wanna bet $100 that one of them will be an IS coupe (Supra-ish successor)?

NSX is my favorite. It makes the car very promissing and desirerable.

They plan to sell the car to people that watch Adult Swim [Cartoon Network late night], Comedy Central, SyFy, Spike, and G4 between the hours of 10pm-6am, and occasionally a NBA game... they seem to do pretty well at that considering that is where a bulk of their ad buys have been since 2005. If you need proof, just look in the "Off-Topic" lounge a count how many topics about anime, video games, sci-fi movies, etc., those are the people Scion is aiming for. Scion isn't aiming for my demographic e.g. the people that saw "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" in theaters and should be shopping for a Honda CR-V or a four-door performance sedan we can show off at the golf course.

You're right, 4 crates for 4 all new or refreshed models. Commercial saying "It's just the beginning". That's what I call exciting.

Not sure what will be in all 4 crates, but I think they are ES, IS, LS and refreshed RX(or GS-F?).
ES is coming, so is IS. LS maybe coming too, but very late. It is time to refresh RX(with F sport goodies), but I wish for GS-F more.

I hope for IS coupe too, but that will make my chance of getting BRZ slimmer.

Well there wasn't a FR-S commercial that I was aware of but it isn't a shocker. Well whenever it comes out I hope it isn't about stupid graphics but the car itself.

Yea, I fall into that demographic, which probably explains the blank stares I got from the dealership when I went in, walked by all the Toyotas and ask for someone that spoke Scion to put my deposit down!

They probably still think I'm buying it for one of my kids!

No commercial and no pricing info....scion needs to get kicked in the balls. For every day that goes by with no commercial or pricing info, they need to take $100 off msrp. That way, theyll get off their ass and get it together, or by the time the car comes out, itll cost no more than 20k

Heard that one 30 sec commercial during the superbowl costs 3.5 million dollars? I don't think these cars are gonna be making them enough money to justify that expense....
