Car stock form is great regardless.

I think this poll is only valid if you have all the mods listed...

I choose my racecomp springs. Aesthetically they make the car look a bit better but as far as driving, it's night and day. The car feels significantly more confident in all curves, especially sweepers. I doubt anyone with RCE's would disagree.

I live in VA where any exhaust mod is illegal... Technically I could make my exhaust quieter and it would still be illegal by the wording of the legalese. Go figure

Yea laws with cars are retarded. I buy a computer, you better bet your ass I'm going to rip anything I want out of it and put something else in.

With a car I'm not allowed to because I have to get a fancy sticker, even if I pass emissions.

I wish the fiance loved Florida as much as I do, haha.

And for dB loudness? Give me a break, I blast my speakers well past 96dB or whatever the limit is, not even mentioning the big amp in my bedroom...

When I lived in Va I had a car with an aftermarket exhaust (95 Stealth TT, exhaust was pretty loud). Got 5 tint tickets and an expired inspection sticker, never once got a ticket for the exhaust. One cop mentioned it to me, but let it slide because it "sounded nice". Still gave me a ticket for the tint, though. :P

edit: Disclaimer: I did get an exhaust ticket in my Starion. To be fair though, it had NO muffler. Just straight pipe. It was ungodly loud. If the cop walks up to your window and asks you to shut your engine off so he can hear, you're getting a ticket. :P

Hahaha yeah I got tint too so I'm looking at the double whammy... We'll see, I consider it to be a social experiment.

I had 5% tint all the way around. I had the windows down 24/7 except when it rained. I think 3 of my 5 tint tickets happened on rainy days haha

Hot damn. I have 35% around, so I'm barely legal on the back, definitely not on the sides. Also have the windshield strip pretty low. Why is all of this sounding really sexy?

Has there been any dynos of the Invida exhaust setups? They look very good, and are quite cheap, so I've been curiously eyeing them.
Alright thank you for clearing that up for me And i havent really seen any dynos for the invidia exhaust setups. They definitely do look very good, and for the price they are a bargain.

Excited because it should be here tomorrow afternoon!!

At $100 a pop it's not really worth it. I was just stubborn and each time I got one it was cheaper to just pay it than it was to go to a shop and have them remove the old tint and install new tint :P The car came with it that dark. It was obnoxious at night in parking lots without SUPER bright lighting.

Tune, or suspension. Really depends what your end goal is.

Having done the NA mods before and followed up by moving to turbo, I now see how much time I wasted with NA bolt on mods. Intakes are for show and sound, catbacks same thing but maybe a bit more purpose, same with lightweight pulleys etc. Once you add boost, you are finally able to see a noticeable benefit in power, but with boost on a previously NA car come the headaches and hidden costs as well.

I chose intake cause it was cheaper... but I'm most happy with the change in acceleration I noticed after installing my exhaust. I didn't need that much more power, just a lil more oomph to help me feel safer about punching it to get into the carpool lane in the morning--and I got it. My butt dyno's is as happy as it's ever been!

Added bonus--my car sounds awesome off the line, at speed, passing, and when learning how to do donuts. ^_^

Not necessarily. You woulda wasted your time and $ by adding bolt ons after your turbo anyway... You just got them
Out of the way first. Like most of us so far.
