ok here goes, numbers refer to map points above:
1. meeting point at sportsman's warehouse Rondebosch (9 am) drive down M5 towards Muizenberg, plenty of speed cams along the way so watch your speed.
2 In Muizenberg, take baden powell drive along the ocean, this is a beautiful road so i can imagine a few photo ops along the way.
3. the (usually) empty parking lot at Monwabisisi (see image below) where we can do a doughnut or two just to get it out of our systen (you know you want to)

4 . Take N2 towards Somerset west, pick up Jacques at the BP before hitting sir lowry's pass. speed traps on this road so again pace yourself.
5. start of sir lowry's pass and a good chance to rev it up the mountain. long double lane curves which can be taken at speed. just be aware of road works near the top.
6. take R321 into grabouw... nice road once you're outside the town.
7. awesome 180 hairpin downhill with wide shoulder. drift it if you want but be aware of oncoming traffic. i wouldn't do it unless the road is clear.
8. over the bridge (photo op) to turn towards franschhoek pass. 90 degree turn, probably no traffic, a bit of sand on the road, need i say more?
9. start of franschhoek pass, normally little traffic on this side on a sunday morning but be aware of mad cyclists and bikers cutting corners as they come down hill. photo op at the top. we could stop in franschhoek perhaps.
10. Turn towards Pniel and Sbosch
11. Helshoogte pass, double lane, fast but don't underestimate these corners, they go on forever
12. cause mayhem in Stellenbosch, end of run
