What is this "electronic black box" a few people have mentioned here? Are the paddles more than just switches?
I first read that the AT steering wheel is basically identical to the MT steering wheel in another thread and started wondering if it would be possible to install the paddles in my MT car but use/wire them as horn buttons. Physically, it looks very doable but if the boxes I see in the pictures are actually electronics and not just switches then it might not work. The reason I am looking at this is because the standard horn pad is not wide enough so it is difficult to keep a thumb to cover the horn when I feel other drivers around me are getting stupid and threatening. Thanks. |

I got stark stick on ones and LOVE them. I would like metal ones with a heavier spring. I didn't read the thread but did they ever make these?
