Yup. 6.1 LCD touchscreen that will debut on the 2014 tC as standard equipment with the Bespoke as an upgrade. The new VP noted that the new 6.1 LCD stereo will have an additional "Scion music channel" that is exclusive to the brand.

Give the media another 2-3 hours and you will be able to find out almost anything about the car minus MSRP.

I can't do silver... No offense to those who can but it just blends in everywhere... Everything else sounds great though just not digging the paint. I thought the special editions usually offered a distinct color code that was unique from that years offerings?

Headlights is all I want.... I like to keep it clean jdm ... Light up emblems now that kills the car unless its on the side piston emblems that lights up red/acts like front turn signal that would be cool nothing too flashy..

Only if it also comes with that cell phone 86 piston holder like on the convertible concept..

Plus bit doesn't matter, all they have to do us reverse the blueprints.

Also, there is a member that has them on his USDM FRS. All he did was change the way the bulb was pointing.
I know they can do the changes to the design easily, but getting from there to a part from a supplier is a pretty involved process. I'm pretty sure headlights for US cars also have to be submitted for DOT certification.

It's not likely they'd go through that just for a limited-run version of a low-volume car. The first car we'll see them on is the special edition but I'd expect to see them on all FR-S's in a coming model year.

Or, they may have just used European headlights from a non-uk country.

Here's a pic of the Scion logo glowing inside, from my grainy iPhone cam:

Stays lit for maybe 20 seconds. Pretty tacky. Like the exterior color though.

I am sure, that somewhere in Japan, an 86 enthusiast will be so jealous that the US got this color and the glowing scion badges.

I hope this means the lights, HVAC and push to start will be making it to the regular future models as well or at least will be available for separate purchase.

The light up thing is silly but the worst part is they chose that blue color, it reminds me of the Prius' badge, not something you want to associate with a sports car.

Light up badges and interior panels? Reminds me of the children's shoes that light up when you take a step... What are we, 3? I do want those headlight though, maybe we can get our hands on them without a VIN. Overall, it's just tacky...

There is a conflict between the PR release and the web site re the SS's feature list for the FR-S. Here is the total feature list direct from Scion's web site:

Quote:
Silver Ignition exterior color
Illuminating front- and rear-mounted Scion badge
Electroluminescent dash panel display
Solar-charged illuminating shift knob
HID headlights w/LED daytime running lamps
Smart Key and push-button start
Only 2500 available
However the press release mentions dual climate, and it appears in the photo above. It appears Scion can't even gets its web site right - very confidence-inspiring.
