The $290 there is for a pair of arms.

I also have seen single arms for sale in the $150 range on Ebay.

FT86 Speed Factory also has the WL ones up:

$476 and my "guess" is that's for a pair but I don't know...

Technically the Hotchkis is a 4-point bar.
I see the point now. I wasn't thinking about the stock car not having the cross brace, just the two point braces. So yes, after seeing the stock setup I agree, the Hotckiss, etc. would not be stock replacement and therefore illegal.

This a great idea Scooby-South started, there always seems to be subtleties to the rules that can really help you if you understand them. Let's keep them coming.

D. Exhaust manifolds and headers (including downpipes) may be replaced
with alternate units. Mounting brackets/hardware which serve
no other purpose are considered part of the exhaust components.
E. Catalytic Converters - Any high flow catalytic converter(s) are allowed,
but must attach within six inches of the original unit. Multiple
catalytic converters may be replaced by a single unit. The inlet of the
single replacement converter may be located no further downstream
than 6” along the piping flow path from the original exit of the final
OE converter.
Here is the ST* Exhaust Rule complete... just so you guys can see how its written.

Gotta double check their scale, as I've seen multiple weights for the same tire (?)

A 2 point plus a 3 point does not equal a 5 point though, it is still technically 3 points. Therefore, how does one interpret the cross-bar?

I would say that the replacement of the stock locations would be okay no matter what, i.e. stiffer bars that are after market, just replacing the stock locations. The addition of a cross-bar is the real decision, and I don't know what to think.
Still looking for some clarification on this from the rules experts. I doubt I'll be buying anything for this location, I just would like to know how an inspector would interpret our bars.

Sorry I thought dwx had answered it... I agree with him.. you can get a cross bar but not integrate all them together

You can put in a front strut tower brace but like other said don't get one that connects those all. The FT86 has the same arrangement as the Gen2 MR2 Turbos did. However keep in mind that STB's rarely did much other than add weight in most of these type cars. That money is better spent elsewhere.
